I know there is a pinned thread filled with 100s of bits sites, 3rd party and otherwise up there. But doesn't anyone have the much shorter list of sites that sell FW bits?

No one really sells FW bits aside from the the occasional ebay seller.
It's just not worth it.

pbwill from eBay is where I get most of my FW bits. Ships from my hometown of San Francisco which is also nice.
Building FW kits from eBay costs more than buying from FW, but if you just want an arm or weapon or half of a two-model bundle, it's cheaper from eBay.

Correction:
Pretty much no one sells legitimate FW bits. There are eBay sellers (and a few 'companies') which sell recasts.

There are a few ebay sellers selling FW bits and they are legitimate FW bits, there are also a few bits companies selling legitimate FW bits also, not too sure whether they sell abroad though.
They can be quite expensive, but people are often willing to pay a premium.

Ah yes, a very valid correction. And one that you need to watch out for. That is unless you're into recasts. Which would be bad...

Yeah, I like kitbashing and putting random bits together. I wouldn't be making a FW kit out of FW bits. I'd maybe buy one or two bits to add them to regular GW bits.

How isn't it worth it? It's the same principle as regular bits isn't it? Seller buys the whole kit then charges enough for each bit so that they make more than they bought the kit for.

Bits and Kits have a section focussing on forgeworld bits.

Absolute rubbish, its actually harder to find fake bits, than it is real ones, mr. paranoid.

It's actually equally as easy, they just show up less. Type in "Forge World" and you'll get like 100 auctions for legitimate, 1x bit lots, and then you see the auctions from Hong Kong and Russian Federation selling 10 bits at once. Those are the fakes.

Sales volume is a lot lower, and the kits are more expensive. So it's a lot less likely to find a kit where you can consistently expect to sell the most desirable bits for enough to cover the cost of all the stuff that doesn't sell.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

Bits and kits, bitzbox, valhalla gaming (ebay store) mr. austen (ebay store) are just a few that I've usec to get FW bits. They're all UK based, though. Bitzarium is a French based company that I used once.

I was going to start one up as it happens, but my work commitments have not been going as planned. I will probably get around to it in the new year.
