So here's my situation, good folks of Dakka.
In my expanding Dark Elf force, I want to add another mounted Sorceress on a horse, and a Dreadlord on a Dark Pegasus.
My problem is that I cannot find any model that looks decent for the rider of either of those sets. I'm willing to go outside of the GW range to find it, but does anyone have any good leads?

What about the two which come in the Black Dragon kit.

That one would probably work for the Sorceress, but for the Dreadlord, I'm not sure.
For the Dark PEgasus, I want to convert the Daemonic steed from WoC (the one with the very solid pose and heavy armor) to have wings, and I think the still pose of the horse would not go well with the raised arm of the rider.

I had a similar thought using Archaon's Mount.
Will that mount look right with wings? Not sure why but I'm having a tough time imagining it.
Have you considered Archaon's Horse or the WoC mounted sorceror horse? Both have a more dynamic pose.

I have, though I really like the more static pose of the other daemonic steed, especially since I'd like to have the wings either folded, or on a flat/lower angle than the usual "flared back" look for winged beasts.

Ah, the folded/lowered look would suit it. If you have any unbuilt Cold One Knights you could kitbash one with some of the dreadlord bits.
