Posting in a Mierce thread is a constant battle with auto correct, I wonder if a similar problem is delaying the book!

One thing from watching the battle reports.

Maybe the recovery roll shouldnt be a penalty....I mean your spell casters are already spending life to cast spells. Your spending an action to attempt to recover- so it shouldnt have the possibility to be a double negative. In other words if you fail thats bad enough because you just wasted an action.

Not oh you failed wasted an action and possibly killed yourself. Makes it very risky bringing a spell caster period more of a liability really....as you have no reliability and your odds of killing yourself to cast spells very high. it seems.....esp since its 2d10 damage with possibility of exploding dice.....

Think all you designers are doing is making it to where no-one will take spellcasters unless their powers are ridiculously good or they are very cheap and expendable.

If we reach the Jutes, I am going to have to completely rethink things - May well jump ship from Fomoraic to Jutes.

Glad to hear it, lizard types ;o)

@Chaos45 - before we changed it, sorcerers failing their Temper Test did virtually nothing - it lowered his Temper attribute's value - and was no deterrent. This way, there is a cost; and bear in mind that most sorcerers start with a lot more constitution (some monstrous sorcerers have a lot of constitution), and it's often better to attempt to recover before constitution becomes very low. So it's not like it happens all the time, and there's plenty of things to go against it.

What I'm trying to say is - I hear you, but it's not a problem at all, and people are not dissuaded from taking sorcerers.

Arent they 40mm based as well? 27 pounds for 10 is an insane deal (and going to be very heavy!)

That host would probably be more than £60 Mr Hogg...

Still, all the hosts are great deals in this one, so I have no doubt it would be good too. 10 infantry will set you back about $40. 10 Reaper bones man sized figures runs $30 retail. No disrespect to Reaper, but the choice seems clear to me!

Savrar (so far) are indeed on 40mm bases, but they aren't really all that big compared to say, a GW lizardman.

Of the few released so far, their limbs tend to be splayed out and take up more room, especially their tails.

It'll be interesting if we do see them funded, because they'd be the first all metal unit that wouldn't have a resin counterpart.

Well, whoever's lurking here needs to get in onto the project and push that total, because the Savrar will only happen if we get to around £30,000...

So, all you lurkers, waiting to see what happens, just get your pledge in... if everybody waited, nothing would get unlocked!

What wave / delivery estimate would there be for the Savrar, since they'd be all new sculpts?

I'm very interested in them too, but the timeline will likely be too far out for me to make much use of... still tempting, though.

It is entirely dependent on the sculptor they choose. If it's Roberto, then it will be later this year/early next year when they're being done.

Also, Gríthír will be a raven-griffon for the Norse.

And a new stretch:

Euhm... what's the difference? Another weapon choice, is that it? And the "foot-on-the-stone" pose? :p

The armor plating all over his body is different. Legs especially. There's armor plates where the mummified head is now. Less spikes on the arm guards.

I know, right? I'm actually not a huge fan of many of the female Mierce sculpts (some just don't live up to the concept art at all) but they hit that one out of the park!

Up your pledge by £10 per, then send a mail to "kickstarter@mierce-miniatures.com" telling them which one(s) you want.

Is this on top of a starter force or can you add it as part of the £10 option.
