although the banner pole will need to be replaced with wire as it's too thin to survive any gaming/transporting action as resin (should be ok for paint and display if you're careful)
good moustaches too

I hope the associated rules bonus is suitably epic too...................

This appeals a lot, but I'm mainly interested in Albainn and Erainn so I suspect I'll be waiting a good long while before those make it to metal.
Can I ask; is there a gallery anywhere of the completed models which are not yet up for sale on the non-KS store for us peasants?
Also; from the concept art, it seems as if the Erainn models are built a little differently than the other humans, but I can't tell - are they the same height as the others but much bulkier, or are they stocky compared to other humans? Or is that just the art? It would suit me better if they are a bit on the stocky side, since that would mean I could use them for both Darklands AND an Albion warband for Mordheim.

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Every bulletin gets reposted here dude, so if you can be arsed to trawl through, you'll see everything us KS backers have seen, I've also found a lot of the stretch goal illustrations on a Google Image search in the past, but they'll be concepts rather than sculpts.
As for the Erainn? No clue, but making them distinctly different is the sort of detail that'd be typical.

Really underlines how close the concepts and sculpts are so often.

This typically comes down to the style of the particular sculptor. Even though the sculptors can adapt to someone else's style, they still have their own distinguished way to sculpt. Valentine Zak, for example, who has sculpted most of the Erainn shown thus far, usually sculpt with a little more mass. I believe that this is the reason why they look slightly differently.
Having just watched the game play video a few posts above a couple of things stood out
- infantry are actually worth taking in your musters.
- the game seems fairly easy to pick up and it has quite a few similarities with older versions of wfb (not AoS).
I am curious how the infantry will hold out against the really big guys like Krull or Angrislaug, I think they will struggle to damage them. It was also nice to see the Ysians actually win a game.

I'm just waiting for the rulebook and starter sets to hit selves. Really looking forward to Darklands but everything seems disorganised and chaotic atm, probably because of all the successful KSs (which is a good thing I suppose! ).

Enjoyed the battle report. I might have preferred a game with more formations (they don't seem to matter, similar to Warmachine) but I liked the look of a lot of the mechanics. Really, this is what WAOS could have been, in an alternate reality. Looking forward to playing this myself!
After a nice weekend we're now at around the £14,000 mark and that means the Byzantii Infantry Starter Host is not too far away... and so let's give you another metal host to go for - this time the Érainn Tuanagh Infantry Starter Host!
Increase your pledge by £60 to get a hold of the Érainn Tuanagh Infantry Starter Host!
Watch out for more infantry hosts soon... we seem to be knocking over those stretch goals pretty quickly!

So the Érainn starter is the first to contain minis that haven't been sculpted yet. Also they've only just in the last few weeks been taken off the New Kindreds section as they are due in wave 7.
I'm kind of glad I picked up the big Hydra instead so I can save money on these in metal.
I'm guessing if I put £10 in now I'll have to pay for the starter around October time, which gives me time to save up for the Norse starter as well
My other thought is will we see the Jutes and Atalantes offered in metal before we see the sculpts and if we did would this mean less sales for the resin versions.

I'd thought the Erainn were already closed, as they are all complete, but a check of the website shows the host is still open (possibly in error).
I think only the two tree dudes are unsculpted for Erainn. Hopefully Didier is close to being done, or they are being reassigned, as he finished the commander tree back in January and it seems six months should be enough time to have knocked them out...
I picked up the Erain and Jutes monstrous and regular infantry during New Kindreds. Kind of wish I'd at least gotten the Jutes in metal, as those spears frighten me in resin. If the Atalantes infantry get added to Metal Age, I'm definitely adding them. Those spears looked even more slender than the jutes'.

I suspect the insignia on his belly plate would tell us, if we were able to decipher it.

From what I remember way back in KS 1, Shaaroc was Brythoniaid, but joined the Fomoraic when the Christians started driving the dragons back. He's the exception to the rule.

Meanwhile, have a dig around gaabrax and gaabrox for similar ideas, if you're unfamiliar.

My guess will be that Scaeroc (Grymdraig) will be a Brythoniad Commander of sorts. Theg equivalant of the Angedern (Prifdyndraig) is to the Dyndraig, but for the Cawrdraig (dragon ogres).
Or im off and hes just a larger version of them but that Chest plate certainly looks like the Brythoniad Insignia.
If the Atlantes make it to metal thats my ability to resit a 2n'd Kindred gone.
