This thread is in loving fandom to the glory of JoJo's bizarre adventures. One of the greatest manga of all time.
JoJo is one of the single longest running manga of all time and recently got a sick anime.
Jesus this is gonna take some time but I'm gonna go over some highlights of the beginning of Part 1.
PART 1: Phantom Blood
This is the beginning of JoJo. Takes place from 1868-1890 in England and Jonathan Joestar's father has just been in a terrible accident with his carriage and a hillside that kills his mother and almost kills his father. Infant Jonathan is almost killed in the accident.A deviant named Dario Brando arrives on the scene to pillage the carriage and Joseph Joestar (JoJo's father) awakens as Dario is trying to strip him of his clothes and jewelry. Joseph mistakenly thinks Dario saved him and tells him to come if there's anything he ever needs. Dario goes with this for obvious reasons.
12 years later Dio Brando, son of Dario and Dario are living in the slums and and as Dario lies dying he tells his son to go to the Joestars and if he's smart their money and the world can be his. On the Joestar side of things Jonathan has grown up in the lap of luxury in spite of Dio Brando who has grown tough and callous. Dio arrives on the scene and his first act is to brutally kick Jonathan's dog Danny. He precedes to attempt to make Jonathan's life a living hell, and to break him so he can take the money without resistance. This plan goes well but when Jonathan grows tough himself after a year he manages to beat Dio in a fist fight and for 7 years Dio puts up a façade of friendship. This fist fight results on blood being spilled on a mysterious stone mask which reacts strangely releasing spikes from it's back. Jonathan's father is sick and no one knows why. Of course Dio is poisoning Joseph with the same Oriental concoction he used to kill he used to kill his own father. JoJo goes to find the druggist as proof in Ogre street, one of the toughest parts of England. Dio notices the mask 7 years ago and thinks it's a torture device. Dio goes on a drunken stroll and comes across 2 idiots. Thinking this the perfect time to test the mask he kills one and tests the mask on the other. At first nothing happens and the man appears dead from the spikes. Dio is unimpressed and moves on. Then the man comes back as a creature with strength to blast apart massive stone walls by tripping and almost kills Dio but is killed by the sunlight. Dio takes the mask back and plans to use it to transcend his humanity.When Dio arrives back home Jonathan is waiting there with evidence and the police and Dio spring his trap by using covering the mask with Joseph's blood while he has it on. He is then immediately shot 30 times and falls through a window. They think he's dead and go on to mourn Jonathan's father. And then Dio comes through the window with new massive superhuman strength, durability, and the like cleanly cutting a copper's head in half with the blade of his hand, and then killing the other 6 coppers by throwing the body at them shattering their bodies apart. Jonathan goes on to fight Dio by setting a massive fire throughout the mansion, but Dio's so tough his flesh regenerates far faster than fire can consume it. Seeing that more has to be done JoJo goes to the roof. Dio pursues being so hilariously strong as to walk up the concrete wall to the roof by plunging his feet through the concrete. Dio arrives on the roof and Jonathan tackles him where Dio lands on the spear of the massive statue of Venus the Joestars have in the mansion as their guardian. As the fire gets in full flux Jonathan is rocketed out of the house by an explosion as Dio is screaming from the now far hotter flames. The Joestar mansion burns down and Dio is supposed to be dead. The Joestar mansion is destroyed and the druggist goes to take the mask for himself. As he finds the mask amongst the wreckage and reaches for it, a scorched hand starts to drain blood from his and Dio's red eyes are seen.....

Not really. The anime thread is "what have you been watching". It's not even the same style of thread.
Except that people are discussing what they've been watching, what's coming down the pipeline, and what's good. Also Soladrin talks occasionally about the mangas that he has been reading.
Alf can speak for me from the last thread on this, with the exact.same.title. Posted by a user who posted almost the exact.same.subjects. as you.

Not really. The anime thread is "what have you been watching". It's not even the same style of thread.

Refer to my argument above this. Seem stupid yet? If not there's always surgery but as an extension these people paid no mind to the fact it was simply an appreciation thread requiring A: a thread to itself or B: Jacking the thread.

Lets ignore the adamantium strength argument on the stupidity of this above shall we . That would be a hilariously multipurpose thread, and this isn't to talk about the piece as much as it is to swoon over it, and get people interested in it. Fundamentally different in structure, scale, topics, conversation, flow, tone.....Yeah.
You'll certainly get people interested in something you like by trying to insult everyone in the thread. As opposed to a thread that people who like anime are more likely to check, and where you will get better discussion of its strengths and flaws. A thread which already exists.

Honestly it sounds kind of a mess from your description, why not try to shorten it a bit, simplify it. 'Child tries to avenge fathers death against an unkillable foe' is sort of the vibe I'm getting

Deviant? Seriously....Ok? A deviant in the context (that there is around a hundred clues to) refers to a criminal and in a different context(unexplained but clues to) a child beater to Dio

Well knowing how odd anime can get, deviant could have been the name for necromantic wizards or something, or it could have been a sexual deviant, or anything. The last thing that would have been assumed from your OP is a criminal and a child beater.
