Nice list, big fan of everything except the sternguard would love to see a second raven instead as I believe they are more reliable and potentially will do more damage then your sternguard suicide squad.

Example (extreme bad luck)
Turn 1 pod arrives scatters leaving you over 6" away. You dont explode what your shooting at and in your opponents turn the sternguard are be pounded into the dust. 190 points of ouch...

Where the Storm raven comes on you can shoot at two targets carry troops and its far more survivable as a flyer IMO an around better option for ten more points.

well, I am hoping that, with corbulo to tank wounds, the sternguard will be around after the enemies first turn of shooting

If that's the plan I personally would try and add 3 more bodies to the sternguard unit drop some of the melta's and combi weapons in 6th I think 11 melta weapons is over kill. This will give you more bang for your buck, an extra 6 hellfire shots per shooting phase is gonna pay over the course of a game specially against things like riptides and wraithknights

hmm. I suppose.. I could drop 2 meltas from a squad for flamers, drop a power maul and add one extra body to the stern.

Not going to worry about home objectives? Don't get me wrong, I just always think it's worth to find a hundred points or so for a backfield unit that can hold one of your objectives and still contribute to the fight. Scout snipers perhaps? Even with camo cloaks, still only 90 pts

thing is, if I do grab the scouts, my assault units would lose a good bit of their power, or, the sternguard wouldn't provide a very decent distraction.

I think you either make a assault list or a stern guard list, I say save the stern guard for a list with loads of them, I would definitely take some scouts for back field holding the objective, also storm ravens use them
