My cultists have a different flair than the others (but I guess that's the nature of cultists). I play Iron Warriors, so my cultists are more mechanical. I also have traitor guard, most of whom are slave like IG (using Victoria Miniatures penal guard bits).

I'm working on a traitor IG army myself using mostly cultists, here's some of it.

Regular rank and file cultists without any conversion work.

A heavy weapons team with VC ghouls, defiler bits, and some polystyrene terrain.

Conversion of Colonel Straken from a cultist and some chaos marine bits.

*Edit* Here's some other stuff that hasn't been painted yet. Due to being an incredible cheapskate my army goal is to spend as little as possible, so its 90% ebay cultists, reaper bones, and el cheapo knockoff plastics.

Here's what are going to be the special weapons guys in a platoon, each holding a demo charge. The idea is that they're too mutated to function normally so they'll serve their army by running ahead and throwing giant explosives at people in point blank range. Definitely gonna survive that.

From left to right: Psyker, Evil alternate dimension Sgt Harker, platoon banner guy, medic, pimpin' sergeant, company banner, and Al'Raheem the knock-off desert raider

nice, i am impressed by all of them. i read today a white dwarf battle report from years back that featured a Lost And The Damned army list, which included mutants, that gave me a lot of nice ideas too. the best thing aoubt cultists i think is that anything really goes. at the moment i've got a set undercoated that include 7 IG in various states of conversion from pure human to heavily mutated, a lizardman body with a human head, a skaven with human arms, an empire human with a lizardman arm and a IG arm, and a metal dwarf engineer from about 1989.

My nurgle cultists are "finished' but they were a pretty quick job, largely with airbrush. Not very proud of them, but they suffice for such cheap troops. First time using pigments and almost solely used Minitaire paints for them which took some getting used to too. There's 40 of them, this was just a pic to get an idea of what they all look like.

Badablack and Spork, I like yours.

I find that a hobby knife, some green stuff, and a random bitz box can give you plenty of variety outside the "default" poses that plague so many cultist forces.

A few of my own, all of which are very simple swaps and minor conversions.

War Kitten- Nothing evens the odds like a reaper chainsword to the naughty bits
Sgt. Vanden- And now I'm a whale with panties. Can't see how this day can get any better.
