Greetings! After having a fair bit of fun with Deathwing, TauCrons and Imperial Fists in recent months, I'm decided to bring out Necrons for an upcoming tournament at the FLGS. No allies will be permitted and missions are out of the rulebook.

My main concern is the lack of AP2, but without any allies, it will be difficult to squeeze in. The Doomsday Ark won't be much help against Riptides and the like since it's unlikely to score many wounds against it (being a single model unit). Hopefully a high volume of fire from Tesla weapons will make up for it. My other concern is how many points I've sunk into HQ to make sure everyone has a res orb. I'd appreciate your thoughts, comments and criticisms.

Imo you should drop the dday ark for more wraiths as well as the ADL since cover isn't too big of a deal with this kind of army and more wraiths or scarabs is always a good thing

Hmmm. Lords with orbs but no Weave, usually get killed really fast.
I'd also suggest dropping the ADL, but also drop both the resorb lords and get stormteks (one with lightning) instead. Use the spare points to get a GA for the warriors.
I appreciate the usefulness of the DLord, but I'm with @GumyBear, suggest you find points for one more (drop a couple of coils - 2 will probably do).

The Doomsday Ark is clearly not a great option, but do you think relying purely on cc for anti-tank AND anti-riptide duty is really feasible? Maybe heavy destroyers?
I don't have a ghost ark, and although I can see the merits for any army including warriors, I don't for see being able to run one this time.
Regarding the Lords, how are your Res orb lords dying so quickly? It has generally not been my experience that they are successfully picked out of a unit at range (barring a Vindicare Assassin). I understand the appeal of a voltaic staff in general and with the warriors specifically and will probably make that switch for them. Do you think that's a better call than the Res orb lord for the immortals? It seems to me that the improved survivability would be a bigger advantage mid to late game than a unit with a reasonable anti-vehicle option if it elects to effectively waste its tesla fire.

Well, for AT, you have 12 gauss warriors and 4 tesla destructors, which will take down most AV13 reliably. Add stormteks and you don't have an AT problem at all.
Re the orb lords, they have a 3+ save - so you need to keep them away from the front/sides so they don't get shot down. Sure, you can LOS a wound, but as they are not IC, thats a bit dodgy.
However, the main thing is CC. They'll get challenged out and die (note that if you are planning to keep the immortals in the scythes for most of the game, you don't need orb lords anyway).
The other thing to consider is that one Lord is costing you 85-90 points (don't have my codex).....for that you can get 5 more Immortals which would be far more useful at this point level.
Note that Lanceteks are S8 AP2 and you can get at least 2 of them in exchange for 1 lord (maybe three). You can just run them as a unit on their own, because as Everliving, they can still make reanimation rolls even if the squad is totally wiped out.

Automatically Appended Next Post: Also, re the doomsday ark, it can be a really good option - but generally only if you can leave it in a corner and not move it. So, you need to find a way to distract the opponent from targetting it, and also to bubble wrap it.
In your list, I don't think you have either. 12 warriors MIGHT work as a bubble wrap, but you don't really have enough fast threats that are higher on the target list (because the scythes won't be in until T2 at the earliest. So, all you'll have on the board is a couple of annibarges, 4 wraiths with DLord and 12 warriors....plus the DA.
I guess you could view it as disposable and be happy if it gets 1-2 shots away.
I wouldn't use Heavy destroyers in this list - 180 points is a lot. If you want to, put the DLord with them rather than the wraiths.

I am thinking on this list that you could drop the MSS and Warscythes on the Lords in your RC. I agree completely with having a lord with a res orb in troop units, I usually only spend the 65pt and nothing else. I don't use them to accept challenges generally and I keep them at the back if I am getting shot. If someone is attacking one of those units, you can just tarpit with reanimation protocals usually. Even if you aren't taking the objective, you're going to contest it.
Trim down the size of your troops a bit and add DestrucTeks. Str8 Ap2 36" range is plenty to start dinging off wounds on a WK or RT. If you can find the points for a ghost ark for them to use a bunker, all the better (the 12 man necro unit could buy a GA and put the destrucTeks in there on your turn).
You could live without the Aegis and quadgun, the Anni Barges and nightscythes are usually enough to shoot down flyers.
