Pretty cool list, although where are my Homeworld ships?
Funny real life reference: the world's largest aircraft carrier is 332 meters long. '
See that huge Eclipse class destroyer from star wars? Right under it there's a tiny little speck, and if you zoom in you can see it's a Rebel Alliance Nebulon-B escort frigate. That's about the size of the biggest warmachines the world has to bring to a fight. Let's hope we never have to quote that "reality is stranger than fiction" thing in regards to what an alien threat brings to us.

It's inconceivable in my mind to create something that huge, it would take a few generations to complete.
Besides, I'm sure if aliens came they'd send a few scout ships maybe the size of those Mon Calamari Star Cruisers that surround the frigate. I'm sure we could take them on.
I was thinking of printing it out on full resolution and framing it for my wall, how big do you think 3985x4158 is?

It'll do for a good quality A4 at best. Anything beyond that it'll look sandy. That said, it isn't like it's incredibly good quality to start with, so a little edgyness might not bother you

A3, probably; at 300 dpi, that'll be about 11" x 13" (yes, yes, image dpi and print dpi aren't quite the same thing).
It's not every starship ever, though; there's no Culture ships, although that's unerstandable; a Culture System-class General Systems Vehicle, at 8 times the length and 500 times the volume of that Independence Day ship, wouldn't fit on the chart.
(the lack of any official artwork might also be an issue )
Holy Boloney, the Empire had some serious compensation issues. With wasting resources on big targets like those no wonder they lost the war.
Thought for the day: Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
30k Ultramarines: 2000 pts
Bolt Action Germans: ~1200 pts
AOS Stormcast: Just starting.
The Empire : ~60-70 models.

I actually found for the author the image for the Forerunner Keyship.
Also his policy for the chart is only space ships (so no space stations) and the max size is 24000 meters (So no things like the Covenant Supercarrier or the Didact's Mantle's Approach).
Also it is needed an high resolution image for the ship and its official or calculated size.
Where did all the unofficial BFG designs come from? One source, or just "the internet"? I remember seeing that Black Templars battle barge on StarDestroyer.net years ago, but the others are new to me.
