Hello, I tried a different technique and used a lot of washes with these. Criticism and Comments welcome.

Nice work! I like the Mek, they look suitably dirty and orky. If I had to comment on anything, it would be the mold line on the yellow Marine helmet on the base of the Mega Armour fellow. Great stuff!

Thank you. The helmet is supposed to be an angry marine helmet, hence the angry eyebrows.

Nice work! All looking very rusty and old - perfect for orks! Great job.

the metal looks very old and worn out, which is probably "new" to an ork lol. very good work.

An ork with an idea tends to end with a bang.

I am glad, I didn't want rusted, I wanted old metal.

They've got a certain gritty realism to them, which looks slick in individual models. I would worry, though, that an army on the table painted in this manner would look a little bland. Orks love their bright paints- my personal preference would be to slap some loud color on top, letting the worn metal show through, so it keeps the awesome, decrepit feel but has a bit more kick.

They look great. And with washes they probably save you time which is great with an army like Orks.

If it was me I'd try and go back and brighten up the details in the faces/skin areas as they are getting a little lost in the grunge.
