So I'm looking for some human-sized miniatures to paint and maybe play with, do you think I should collect Infinity or Malifaux?

That's more a matter of if you prefer sci-fi or steampunk.
I'd say the Malifaux range has more diversity

And Through the Breach should hit the shelves soonish, so if you do like RPGs, then Malifaux would scratch that itch as well.
Malifaux is coming up with more and more plastics, so that's always a bonus, imho.
The Infinity range is gorgeous though, if a bit pricey. I find I prefer sci-fi a lot more, and the more recent sculpts are amazing.

Reaper Bones.
I just love painting Bones minis so much. Just wash them and paint--no primer required.
Other than that, I'd say Malifaux's plastics will probably be more fun to assemble and paint, but the Infiniti stuff has the potential to look even more amazing if you're a very talented painter. I really wish WGF would release more sci fi plastics.

Yes, me too. If only to get my hands on my Black Widows, finally.
Oh and all my Valkirs!

I like the Infinity models more but plastics are always good IMO.
