Hello everybody,

I recently started to get very interrested in building a necron army. I'm just not a very experienced painter/builder and i wondered what types of color schemes would look nice on the necrons. I was thinking of either doing the standard ones (black/metalic) or a dark red variant on it. I just wondered if anybody got painting tips on either of the color schemes and/or have some examples of either color schemes that would work out. Thank you guys in advance for the reactions

Here are mine. I used heavy metallic blacks and golds and greens. I got my scheme from reading the Hammer and Anvil sisters novel.

I am currently painting a Necron army and I used the following tutorial:

It is very fast painting and doesn't require a lot of experience as you are just dry brushing for the most part. I have painted 36 warriors, 15 bases of scarabs, 1 spyder, 1 HQ, and 1 triarch walker in maybe around 5 hours and I think it is a pretty good table top quality.

I also found a link on youtube from this guy who got a couple of "easy looking" paint tutorials ( linky : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBDYFIDgVBI&list=SP5E0D6499FEA8CFFD ). I think i'm going to figure out what i want and might even swap the green crystal look for a red ones to make it my own a bit. Or i might just mess it up this way
