Simple question, do ravenwing bike squads come with special weapon arms?

I think there is a power sword, otherwise they're the basic bike set with Dark Angels bits for decoration.

Even the Command box only has power swords and mauls though they do have tl plas on the bikes instead of tl bolters.

If you want melta, plas, grav stuff you'll have to get it from the tactical or sternguard sets.

Looking at the Ravenwing upgrade frame kit thingy, it would appear that it only comes with power swords. It does come with assault cannons and heavy bolters, but I'm assuming they are for land speeders.

If you look at the sprue pics of the Ravenwing command squad. They come with swords and hammers and plenty of bike mounted plasma guns. No hand held special weapons though.

Spoilered these ones.

Hmm, so how would one give a squad say.. a flamer, without too much conversion work.

Or if there is no such way, could you give me a tutorial or guide please.

Thanks

Use a chainsaw arm. Cut off the weapon and hilt, leaving the hand and arm. Cut the pistol grip off the special weapon. Glue special weapon to empty arm.

Alternately, use a pistol arm and do the same.

well, any non-CSM anyways but I prefer one-handed pistol/bolter hands though as they have gun grips instead of sword grips

I have half a mind to kill you, and the other half agrees

Thanks, so bolt pistol and chainsword arms, cut off so only the hand is left. Then the grip cut of a gun and the gun stick in to the top of the hand?

Essentially, yes. I was pondering on other ways to do it that might look better, but they were all too difficult and I think this is the route I am going to take with my Salamanders bikers too...

.
I put a small thumb-tack on top of the rear fender or on the side if you wish), and a small magnet on the special weapon, easy...

Use bits from new tactical kit. the hand is attached to the spec. weapon already, just attach at the wrist. simple, and cleaner.
