Is any painting and modelling allowed on these forums or just wargaming related bits?

For example i also make scale model kits of tanks/planes etc
Would that sort of thing be OK or not here

Sorry if this is a stupid question

not a mod, but I have seen military models posted on here as such before. I kind of like seeing the odd non-gaming completed model.

Actually i suppose any model could be used for wargaming

Iv'e seen games played with 1/6 scale stuff so its doable XD

As Redfinger said - I'm not a mod but go ahead - anything that you paint or model is good - I've seen all sorts of models on here before (though sadly not too many as most people just do 40k/WHFB here)

I've seen models of T72s and M1s used as counts as Russ's and Preds...so precedent set.
Of course nothing is stopping the mods/owner from creating a new Forum in the "More Dakka" section for "non-gaming" models.

Life isn't fair. But wouldn't it be worse if Life were fair, and all of the really terrible things that happen to us were because we deserved them?

I hate proxying to that degree but if i can find a game which uses 1/35 modern or WW2 armour...

I already play Rules of Engagement with 1/72 armour and infantry so expect a bit of that

I would actually like to see this, it could be a good opportunity to broaden Dakka's horizons.

Any sort of modelling is perfectly ok. The focus tends to be primarily on gaming stuff simply because that's the main focus of the rest of Dakka.
