I have been looking for weeks and searching everywhere online for some tiny programmable speakers for my Imperial Guard Valkyrie. I want to either program it to play "Ride of the valkyries" or " Fortunate Son". But I cant find any guides or anything. I want to spend as little as possible. Can anyone help me out with this? I can't seem to find anything.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Edit2: I am thinking of doing a Vietnam style army, on a side note, anyone have any songs they think would be good for the huey-like valkyrie?

Resin Printer (minaitures) is a 4K printer with one of the largest build volumes available for a resin printer (192mm x 120mm x 245mm) with an amazing .01mm resolution! This professional printer is one of the best resin printers on the market!

FDM Printer (terrain) also has one of the largest build volumes available for an FDM printer (400mm x 400mm x 450mm) and has an amazing ,05mm build accuracy.

Been looking into it to. But I only found mini/micro speakers. Wich seemed quite pricey. Wanted to play this http://youtu.be/eh7lp9umG2I inside my vehicles.

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

Have you tried cutting up a cheap mp3 player? You can get them for just a few bucks nowadays.

Step 1: Cut the housing off
Step 2: Solder the jackplug wires to this:
http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062406
Step 3: Keep hitting it with a hammer until it fits inside the model.
Step 4: ????????????
Step 5: Profit!

Please mind that step 3 is optional.

You could pull the guts out of a programable greeting card. Might not be a good qualtity sound but you would get the song you want.

It wouldn't work to simply solder the jack plug in to another speaker, you have 4 wires not 2
the two wires that you see are for left and right speakers each has its own +ve and gnd wrapped together with insulation between them.

unless you can find an mp3 player with mono output instead of stereo

use the existing ear phones with the speaker housing cut back exposing the speaker remove the cover or whatever and then placed up against a hard surface like a thin sheet of brass which will amplify the volume output.

programable speakers do not exist, the greetings cards are not re-programmable, there is a little piezo inside you could use if you didn't mind it sounding terrible.

It appears to me that the pragmatic approach is to have your sound effects and background music ready to play on your smart phone.

May I suggest going to Caboose Hobbies, or any decent model railroad store?

http://www.caboosehobbies.com/catalog/index_brief.php

Adding sound to model railroad locomotives is all the rage these days and mini speakers are becoming better and better while getting cheaper too. If you use the search box, just type in "speaker". You'll get alot of decoders, which are very pricey ($40-$150), but in the mix you will see a huge variety of small sized speakers. They have some down to 28mm in size nowadays.

Hope that helps!!

Something that might work is to get a Little Bluetooth speaker, you know the kind that they sell for Bluetooth MP3's or Smartphones.

In general they run on 2xAA batteries, if you find one tiny enough to cram it in the Valk, even if you have to rework a bit the shape of the Valk, you only need to connect the speaker to your Phone with Bluetooth and play the song.

Found online some models that are 6.7 by 6.8 by 8 cm for 17 $

What about putting the speaker inside a chunk of terrain on the base? Would that open up some options for you?

For a Vietnam themed army, use this song:
