Nice start. Kharn looks great.

The weathering looks good. Not too much, not too little.

I was considering a light brown dusting to the lower legs to give a 'mid battle' feel

Thoughts?

Hmm. I suppose it depends on how you are going to base them. If you were going for a urban/spaceship/etc style base then no, I wouldn't use the weathering powders.

However if you were going for a style were they are out rolling around in the muck, then yeah, some weathering would probably go a long way.

They look great (especially Kharn, looks exactly like the artwork sketches in Betrayer!), but they need a lot more blood on them :p

A bit of blood definitely wouldn't go astray. That being said though, it's nice to see blood free World Eaters for once. *BLAM* Heresy! Bloody up those World Eaters. Blood for the Emperor, Skulls for the Golden Throne.

Thanks! Having not seen this image I can't say I went that way at all!

The rampagers will get blood effects but I wanted a very early heresy or even great crusade era force where I don't have to splatter them with gore - painting that white takes time!

I did try blood on the dread but it looked wrong due to the blue fist and armour panels. I suspect a small amount on Kharn would be ok - a little on his fist and axe blade perhaps? Kargos (aka blood spitter) could also get some across the narcarthium I guess
