The
LRCs are Heavy Support, not dedicated transports.
So all in all you have 2 Scoring troops? Thats a wee bit low. If one gets taken out, You may find you loose the game by VP. Your model count is also VERY low. Just a few bad rolls and you basically automatically lost the game.
Yeah, this is my main concern too. My only option would be to swap out the Knights (losing their insane combat potential) or the Command Squad (losing out on the banner).
Belial should go down with the DW CS, The more melee the marrier, and you have someone to "catch" the challange for him that might actually hurt someone.
I do agree with the melee potential, but the accurate
DS is just too good. He can be dropped on an objective, or near the crusaders to support the combats they enable.
Imo an apothecary for these freaking expensve models is a must. Even one FNP pays for itself (if you don't mind loosing a PF).
I have considered swapping the
DW Banner for the Banner of Fortitude. The
FNP Banner has done wonders in the past, but when my terminators are safe in reserve or in a
LRC, I don't really need it. An apothecary really lowers the combat potential. I'm going for 2 very hard hitting units.
This in turn endangers the existance of the Techmarine... Take a libby with the same loadout instead, way more useful.
I think swapping the techmarine for a libby is a great idea. The techmarine is much stronger in combat, but the libby is a much stronger support unit.
DW is always going to be a low model count army, no doubt. My options come down to having toys like
LRCs and Knights, or more scoring bodies. I'm going to work on fixing this list.
