Oh, by the way: anyone planning to use them alongside other miniatures should be aware that at least two of the promo figures (Sheldon and McClane) are 32mm and 30mm to the eye respectively.

So bendy like game peices/army men or plastic as in proper miniatures?

Just got mine today and played 2 games. I think that the rules are decent, even though they are not written all that well. I look forward to playing the game with my friends in the future.

They are not like army men quality, they are hard plastic and only have a little flexibility. I think most of the flexibility is from them being so thin.

Cheers mate, that was my biggest worry about this product: as I would rather like to paint it all up.

From what I heard, they're supposed to be like the plastic Privateer Press uses.

Mine showed today, the tracking had said it was due on monday but it showed two days early

I'm always amused when I check stuff on fed ex or UPS as the packages always seem to get routed pretty far away before being delviered. Almost every package passes through chicago (o'hare) which is about 13 miles from where I live, but for whatever reason it was then shipped to WI (an hour away) before being routed back to IL and to a local branch for delivery.

Simular happens with UPS there's a regional major hub about 7 miles from my house but packages get sent about 30 miles north of me to sub-branch, yet there's a local UPS branch les sthan 3 miles from here. It would make sense it'd go to the local one but they literally drive it past my house before it makes a round about way back to me. Never have gotten how they calculate the logistics of routing.

Plastic is pretty rigid but due to the thin parts does have a bit of give. Not going to push that much. Seems to be a fairly standard grade for pieces and figures, not rubbery at all. It's a light grey for the zombie hordes while the survivors are in various colors. It doesn't seem to be the hybrid that privateer uses. The minis have a good level of detail and are spot on with the pics that were used in the promotional materials.

I picked up an abomination level package with extra tiles, so it came the second tray zombiess and box for the tiles. The zombies are all held in plastic bubble packaging that is open on the face, in my haste I of course opened my facing downwards so I had a small rain of zombies across my table.

One very nice thing were the half inch foam spacers around the corners of the game box. A lot of items I get online show up with dinged or dented corners and the zombicide box came in absolutely perfect shape. It's a minor thing a lot of companies might overlook, but it shows that somebody was thinking about it. So whoever made that call, thank you The box packaging was top rate.

What are the tiles like? How much ground would you say they cover with 1 set/2 sets?

The tiles are 9.75 inches squre and there's a total of 9 so if you do a 3x3 board it's around 28 inches square. The tiles are about the same thickness as the spacehulk pieces so i's a rather weighty material. The printing is very nice and there's a slight grid texture on the surface.

(they are also double sided so they can be flipped over for differant terrain)

The cards are a glossy cardstock on both sides paper weight is pretty close to magic ccg cards. They are fairly small around 1.5 x 2.5 inches.

There's one punch card that has a couple squad cars, zombie mob tokens, doors and status tokens. Same heavy thickness as the tiles.

Also each character has a gloss stat card for tracking info on. The stat card is a heavier card stock than the deck cards although it has the same glossy finish to it. It's larger and has spots to place equipment cards on the face. aprox 4.75x 8.5 inches
