Subject: FMC/infantry mixed unit and Leaving Combat Airspace
Well, being that the Tyrant Guard cannot fly, the Flyrant cannot elect to fly (as doing so would break the 2" coherency). Also, the entire unit does not have the authorization to leave the board, so they cannot leave the board.

With a unit of 3 Tyrant Guard and 1 HT I guarantee you I can make a legal swooping move with the Hive Tyrant given proper relative positioning of the unit and end that move in unit coherency. I'm also not convinced coherency is an issue as it is only measured after you move the model and as the final position is off the board i don't see that it has any bearing.
True the Tyrant Guard are not given permission to leave combat airspace but the Flyrant is. Hence the question.
If it had mixed profiles like that, how the heck would you shoot at it? Would any hit on the guard force a grounding test? Would the fact that he's a flyer even matter?
