Thought I would share some WIP pics of some terrain pieces I have been working on. They are for a polluted chemical world overcome with radiation and decay.

Made liberal use of the new Typhus Corrosion and Ryza rust technical paints from GW, alongside Mournfang Brown to achieve the rusting. The slime is glue and food coloring.

Sorry for the poor photo quality.

Let me know what you think!

Weathering looks great, now detail the base to finish off the piece!

Yeah! Will do. Always had trouble making dirt, mud, or earth look good. So i'm a bit unsure of how to proceed. Drybrush a lighter shade of brown, but what shade would look good?

There, I did the ground and I actually like how it turned out for once.

Oh that nice. How'd you get such a good luminous green?

Neon green food coloring! The glue tended to dry clear, so after one pour I added a paintbrush tip worth of white paint to the mixture and it came out opaque like you see.

Ah very clever. I'll be sure to give this a try at some point.

Here is another piece I wrapped up today. A chemical silo to go with the collection.

One of the motivations for this set of terrain pieces is to fit thematically with my brothers Nurgle marine army.

I've just finished the first of several sections of security fencing. This one will have a "danger' sign of some sort. Radiation warning, or something.

And here is a teaser for the large centerpiece I am working on. The glue (which is the bright glowing stuff in the image) has to dry. But once it does, I'll post up some better pictures.

Nice, very nice.

Thanks for sharing.

Love the paint marks on the walls.

This. I have been looking for terrain for a long time. 5/5 would go to ground.

Alright. I've finished my big ruined factory enough that I am eager to share it.

First, here is my finished security fence.

And here is the factory:

And the inside:

Let me know what you think! Really looking forward to finishing up all the details and getting them on the table!

I think it all looks great!

Nurgle vs. Death Korps of Krieg would be the epic battle with this terrain.

Thanks!

I pulled the sign off google and threw it into photoshop. Added the Adeptus blah blah and the Eagle. Printed it in an adequate size, cut it out, and then glued it to the wall and covered it in a nice layer of glue for protection.

I love the signs and I love the rust, Emperor knows why I like rust so much but I don't think I'm the only one.

Really great stuff here, kudos.

I was curious about the signs/posters as well. Thanks for sharing. Another way to get them to stick and look great it to soak them lightly in matte varnish. I have yet to try it but the examples I have seen look great.

Great work. Would love to see a pic of the whole table setup. Maybe miniatures next to them to get the general idea of scale and contrast.

Can you post the photo-shopped image of the signs so we could print out our own? They look sweet.

Let me dig it up for you. It's a pretty awful photoshop, though. When printed and little, it looks nice enough though, and I added a few splatters of rusting to make it look nicer. Honestly, you could make a nicer graphic in MsPaint.

Update: I just dug up the file. Unfortunately, I didn't really save the final product cause I did it in 10 minutes at my desk at work. It's all there, except the proper scaling. I will try and recreate the scale I used, though. About an inch or two in size.

My work network server is down so I didn't print it to verify by eye the size, but see if this works for you. Otherwise, I can change the size slightly and repost it.
