I was suckered in by the new models, so am going to put together an army of new plastics (and a few Dark Eldar models where necessary to fill any gaps). I'm also trying a P&M blog on dakka for the first time, so this is in media res (i'm cutting and pasting a few posts from my other blog to start this one). I'd love to get the dakka community's views.

Here's the current paint scheme I'm working towards:

And a closer shot (I think the weapons will be silver, like the left-hand models, rather than red).

Some more guys ready to be painted:

And some counts-as shades waiting to be primed:

<few weeks later>
I got a bit more done, and have been experimenting with "crystal" red weapons. Any comments/suggestions are appreciated.

<few weeks later>
Some progress on the rank and file and the characters -- adding the whites. Not sold on the look for the handbows, may make the cross-piece grey.

<few weeks later>
I got the flesh tones finished on my exemplars. I think they look alright.

Chariot is also pretty much done (base needs finishing, maybe another layer on the white)

Monsters are also done except the basing:

Finally, the cauldron of blood is getting closer to finished.

Not sure what the problem is. I'm speaking with the mods to try and figure it out. Maybe if I cut and paste them here?

reposted to see if the pics will work.

Your problem is that you're trying to hotlink them from Flickr. They don't like people doing that.

Upload them to the Dakkadakka gallery instead.
