Hi guys, I'm new to war gaming and would like to start a WH40K army.
I'd like an army with some strategy to it rather than a straight forward point and kill army.
Any suggestion
(btw, I dont like SoB, Tau or Nids because my friend will be playing them)

Any army can be used as a point and kill army but it takes a good commander to use strategy. So any army can use strategy. In fact the tyranids are probably the most strategic army as they change tactics to fit their enemy.

Now accepting commissions!

I have the dark vengeance set, but I dont wanna play dark angels. I really enjoy blood angels, space wolves, and eldar, but am also considering chaos. I want to start out with 500 points but am on a tight budget.

Thanks, Jawesome

Well in that case, do what you think looks best ! And welcome! I myself love strategic armies versus horde armies. I feel like they have more flexibility.

Pray they don't take you alive...

On a tight budget= don't go for chaos

Space wolves are alright for pricing until you get to fast attack

eldar are good value for money
