So, I'm trying to figure out how to deal with toughness 6 (That is my friends Wraithguard) And higher toughness too for his Wraith Lords and Wraith Knight. I dont have any real big hitter right now, 30 Warriors, 10 Immortals, a Ghost Ark, Annihilation Barge and Triarch Stalker with Heat Ray. My idea was to get 2 groups of 3 Heavy Destroyers, And 1 group of 6 Canoptek Wraiths with 3 Whipcoils. Is there anything else that would do well?

Deathmarks make high toughness units cry themselves to sleep, and they're also probably the best buy for your elites slot to boot.

Think of a daemon incursion like a fart you don't quite trust... you could either toot a little puff of air, bellow a great effluvium, or utterly sh*t your pants and cry as it floods down your leg.

Spam Tesla. Or Warscythes. Or Wraiths.

Necrons don't lack for S6+.

Do they, though? 10 death marks is 13 hits is 11 wounds, is not two wounds off a riptide.

Aren't mass AB with tesla and mass fire the normal way to deal with anything for necrons ? That and deathmarks with +2wounding ap2 flamer template , that teleports around.

tesla destrcutors on your barges. get a hev gauss cannon for the stalker. tesla carbines for the immortals.

lots of str 7+ out there for easy pickings. and str 5 not too shabby at taking dwn t6 either.

Not quite.

There are 2.2 Rends---> 1.5 unsaved
And 8.9 regular wounds --> 1.5 unsaved

So actually 3 wounds off.
