I'm quite enjoying converting Space Dwarfs at the moment. They start off as Rogue Trader Imperial Guard, get shortened and have a few details added (face mostly)... I also converted a Dreadnought for them:

Hey everyone! This is my very first post on DakkaDakka. I've been looking for a good place to share my work. Ever since I got into Warhammer I loved the idea of conversion models, and now that I don't really play Warhammer, I have a lot of freedom to mix and match bitz, which ends up being perfect for making sweet custom Dungeons and Dragons miniatures. Here's a link to some of my more recent work, and I'll be cranking out more models every week. Feedback would be wonderful, as I'm not super experienced yet. Thanks everyone!

Just finished my conversion of Chaplin Cassius. The stock model is Blurgh, so I built my own.

More pics in the gallery and check my blog if you want to see how I built him.
Hope you like!

Hi All,
Thought i would post up my latest project...... Modern APC (Chimera Count As) "Claymore" with "Broadsword" Autogun System.
Need to get some paint on the guns and then finish off the tracks and wheels...... slightly bigger than a Rhino but i definetly think it could be used as a good Chimera stand in.
Love your input guys!
Cheersd & Thanks,

I fully endorse this! Very cool. I saw a lot of those badboys in Iraq and always had a soft spot for them. I've been thinking of using them as SOB rhinos.

Don't remember if I posted this yet or not. All turrets/hatches are removable and the back "canopy" pops off. I still need to magnetize the dozer blade. Right now it's just sitting in the connecting holes and resting on the table. I've got my Deffrolla ready to convert so once I get time (hahahahah) I'll put it on my "to do" list.

well for few hours now i was slowly working on krell lord conversion, basicaly what i am doing is coverting krell from fantasy to 40k, cutting of the retardedly bent axe (mine was cast that way, bad luck i know) and replacing it with either dual daggers or pistol and dagger (comments regarding of choosing the weapons would be nice) now i already cut of bits and pieces and that bent axe and soon i will begin hand and weapon joining
the colour scheme i chose will be from The Purge
now since krell is fine cast (i wouldnt call it fine...) i need a bit of professional help on putting weapons on finecast models, i am planing on having the ready non painted model done within 5 days or so

Superglue will work perfectly for joining finecast to plastic or metal.
