A list that I've been tossing around in my head for a while:
Captain Jonus
Omicron Group Pilot
w/ HLC, Sensor Jammer, Engine Upgrade, Rebel Captive
Captain Yorr
w/ HLC, Sensor Jammer, Engine Upgrade
My thinking is this: Omicron is out front pulling a 0 maneuver. Yorr takes the stress through his ability and Omicron Focuses. Yorr is positioned behind Omicron and pulls a green maneuver thereby sheding the stress he just received and bumps Omicron and not moving. Jonus stacks behind Yorr and bumps. This line can remain stationary the entire game until the opponent moves into range 3 where they get slammed by two HLC with a 2 die reroll from Jonus. As they are on the edge of the board the opponent can't K-turn behind them and will be forced to break off to the sides. Once this happens the shuttles can turn the 90 deg with the engine mods and continue the bombardment.
this sound like a solid plan? Or is this only good on paper
Edit:
Now that I think about it, you could set up in a corner and have a full field of fire and not have to worry about manuvering at all

yeah,
While you stay in your corner I'd keep K-turning at my side of the table until you come out and play normally, or we draw.

Better on paper.
Getting your ships in a line like you want is actually going to be pretty hard. By the time you do you'll be significantly up the side of the board which make flanking you incredibly easy.
If someone flies straight at you of course things will go well. But good players won't do that. And bad players will only do it once.

Neat idea, just doesn't work. Like Panic if I saw you doing this I'd just draw you. But as ArtfcllyFlvrd points out getting the setup is not likely to happen the way you ant anyway. The method you would have to use I can picture a decent size gap between your rear most ship and the table edge. If I was lucky I might come up with a way to snake into that gap and only take fire from Jonus and one HLC.

Having run a LOT of Lambda list variations, a parking lot list included, I can tell you for sure that a good player will get you. They will fly to flank you, and if you turn the "Turret" to face the flanking enemy, they swoop out, go to the other side and come in from the new angle. IF you are still able to hold the formation together that is. My list for Lambda shuttles I've been calling "Battle Cattle," and it uses 2 Omicron Pilots with Engine Upgrade; Captain Yorr; and a 3rd Omicron Pilot with Darth Vader. The biggest problem that I run into is that it takes forever an 3 days to turn those beasts around once the initial flyby is done. With Yorr, the 2 Racing Cows can turn almost 180 and keep shooting. The Doom Cow can easily kill a Tie a turn at close range, and put that last damage on a ship to finish it off if need be. Yorr takes his time with Green turns so the other 2 Racing Cows can keep pressure on anything trying to out maneuver them. And the BEST part, is the 20 hull and 20 shields...Lets not forget that.
