Wait what. Tau Allies in 30k?? Weren't they still Hunter-Gatherers at that point in time? Unless you mean that you're running a
40k Iron Hands list that just takes real good care of their old stuff and still has it kicking around
Can you put the Mortis Contemptor in a Pod? Those guns are only 24" and they'll do quite a bit better against rear armor usually. Against Infantry you'll do the same but it would be better if they're castling. Also, having three pods would allow you to bring in 2 on turn 1.
If the
FW are just camping, you don't need 10. 6 would be fine. Even if you wanted them to have bonding knives so they don't run off, they'll still be a pretty penny cheaper.
Personal preference thing, skip the stims on the Riptide.
And this isn't a personal preference thing, it's a bad luck thing :p my tactical terminators always die. If I could run them without them dying in one turn (unless they have a
LR) I would, cause I love em, but they just always die.
You could throw an
EWO in the Broadside unit for an even 200 pts and to help with those silly fliers.
HYMP BS always do better for me against flyers than the Riptide but that's probably just a luck thing too.
And I always see the Master of the Forge with a Conversion Beamer. Especially on a bike. Give him Artificer Armor and a Storm Shield and he can run around the back of the board by himself sniping things with his hand mounted Demolisher Cannon (you gotta admit the profiles are pretty similar)
