G'day all,

I've seen pictures online of someone who had an Epic Cadian army. Anyone have any idea where the models might have come from? I can't find them:

http://bagrationsarmies.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/start-of-my-6mm-cadians-and-6mm-space.html

I also don't know where the Space Marines in the same link are from, are they standard GW models?

Anyone able to help me out?

Cheers!

If you filter his posts by all tagged 'E:A' it reveals some hints.

I think the Cadians are proxies of some descriptions - he mentions
buying some 6mm Sci-Fi Canadians
although that may be a typo/autocorrect.

The Space Wolves he thinks aren't GW - he says,
I managed to pull out my 6mm Epic Space Wolves that I bought at a bring and buy a couple of years ago. I do not have any transports for them yet but I do have lots of these little 6mm sci-fi space wolfy infantry. I don't think they are G.W figs, so they might be for another system that are sort of made to look like space marines, but I have yet to find that system.

Obviously, the devil is really in the paint job - done correctly, you can find some generic sci-fi troops and make them look a lot like Cadians or what have you simply by painting them the appropriate colours.

To the best of my knowledge, GW never released Space Wolves or Cadians in 6mm Epic form, certainly not for 2nd Edition Epic as far as I know, but I don't even think they did for Epic Armageddon either. In 2nd Ed, you had all the Company and Support cards for Space Wolves without the actual models - I guess you just used regular SM pained as Space Wolves. Don't know if this changed for Epic Armageddon and they added more stuff.

Yeah I've seen 6mm Necrons. I think they were based on Exodus Wars models:

http://www.exoduswars.com/6mm-Edenite-Infantry-Squad/dp/B006LM3ZEE?class=quickView&field_availability=-1&field_browse=1479772031&field_product_site_launch_date_utc=-1y&id=6mm+Edenite+Infantry+Squad&ie=UTF8&refinementHistory=subjectbin%2Cprice%2Csize_name&searchNodeID=1479772031&searchPage=1&searchRank=salesrank&searchSize=12

I have some mid-90's GW Space Marines and none of them look like the 6mm Space Wolves in that blog.

Hmmm, still haven't been able to find anything that looks like those Cadians :(
