I like it. Not much for contrast but then my Elysians are in US 3 color desert with tan armor much like real troops in the middle east pre digi cam. So that being said I'm a huge fan of more realistic vs the need for extreme armor/bdu/gun contrast. That being said I seem to be more in the minority of that thought style.

I am stealing that idea. I love the model!

My only suggestion would be to do the helmet as grey/blue and not green/blue. Keep it more "uniform".

Looks great to me also, makes me 10x more likely to buy the model to be honest, I didn't realise that there was anything wrong with the GW scheme until I saw yours and it just works so much better...

Looks good, but if you are worried about the green. I would say go with a really dark gray. That would give you contrast but would also blend in better.

628th Praetorian Guard Cohort (wife's army)
827th Auxilia Cohort (ad mech fun)

Nice! I would definitely add some contrast in there, even if it's just with grey.

Say, don't suppose you have any WIP pics?

I like it! I'm biased though as a fan of those colors for armies. If I didn't already have 20 kasrkin painted up and the boxes were reasonably priced at 10 models, I'd buy two more for use as veterans.

I think you could use a little stronger highlights and smoother skin, but think the color choices are really nice.

Badass! In the pics the edge highlighting looks maybe a little heavy handed to me, but I suspect on the tabletop it looks good. Really suits the scions, much more realistic than the GW scheme
