Two 2k games of FoW v. Yoof, 1:1 each, discovered just how nasty his Panthers can be when he runs nine of them. Hurty.

He then discovered that when the dice are behind them Americans can lay on the hurt as well..

That was Saturday, today was Derby wargames show, weirdly my better half bought more than I did, I didn't actually buy anything a first for such an event for me.. Shes got dice, counters and a couple of pendents for necklaces which look pretty nice.

Yoof got a far bit, and has decided apparently hes getting Bolt Action for christmas... my wallet cried at hearing this.

Good fun though, and a great show, took a lot of self control to avoid becoming the owner of a 6mm army, or starting Drop Zone (avoiding loitering too long around that)

Some progress did happen after all; I've got the Dwarf Paladin (based on the WHW Bugman mini) about halfway done. Might get him done tonight, might not.

I'm gonna finish three more assault enforcers (just gotta glue arms and heads) and then rush them outside to prime. It's gloomy as heck but it isn't quite cold cold or raining so I think I'll be safe to prime. Gonna do a batch of 9 and see if I can knock them out in short order in anticipation of reinforcements from DZ:I and eventually Warpath.

Went to Derby Wargames World and for the first time showed great restraint, picking up only a few things I was specifically looking for and managing to not buy AVP despite the rather excellent demo table they were running and Prodos being really, really persuasive.

...although I also backed 7 Sins so restraint is often optional in my case.

Did a conversion on a Merc solo. I hate using green stuff because I suck. But, it turned out passable. As soon as I paint it I'll post it.

Probably not as interesting but I have been assembling my first vehicle today (Chimera).
And as I want to paint the interior with more ease I've masked off edges with blu-tack so I hope when I prime and paint it, the masked off area will then come together with plastic glue. B)

Painting up a bunch of random, forgotten about models I had laying around.
No idea what I can do with them, they don't really fit into KoW and Warhammer Fantasy is terrible.

I'm currently working on two FoW WW1 armies, German and British using Peter Pig models.

I've got most of the British assembled and undercoated and started putting some paint on them last night; still waiting on some bases for the rest of the artillery though. The Germans still need some cleanup and basing. I love the basing I've managed to do for the British; I'll get some pics up at some point.

I miscounted the number of infantry I needed so I need to order some more.

Got in a game of pulp alley and x-wing tonight.

Buck Spencer along with his best agents and some local backup took on Da Boss but failed to secure the secret documents and will be on the wrong foot for the next mission. Both agents had an ability to draw extra fortune cards instead of shooting/fighting and the healthy pool of tricks had my opponent on the ropes at first..but luck turned against me.

We had s bit of time after that so we played a game of x-wing that ended up being not as quick. He had a mix of ties and interceptors and since I couldn't find all of my scum dials I went with Dash and Coran. First time I brought that duo but I'm suitably impressed. Horn's ability to flop between extreme offense and potent defense is fancy and the maneuverability of the yt2400 coupled with the nasty heavy laser cannon is fun to fly.

I painted a stormwall I got for literally pennies, it was really badly painted and put together but I did a speed job on it as it's just my second one for tournaments.

I have so much new plasticrack, I bought a fair few job lots of WarmaHordes lately and barely touched most... I now have around 30 various Cygnar models, same for Mercs and a few bits for Circle, Trollbloods and Minions to paint but I now have the Cephalyx all in one to assemble and paint and two job lots worth of Convergence to assemble and paint

Woe is me.

Cygnar (133) | 82% painted - Menoth (65) | 92% painted
Mercenaries (52) | 53% painted - Circle Orboros (42) | 92% painted - Minions (20) | 0% painted

Systems I play : Warmachine, Hordes, Star Wars X-Wing, Star Trek Attack Wing, Malifaux & Bolt Action.

Saga stuff. Assembling 4grounds buildings and going through the minis I have repairing damage. You'd think that a bunch of toy soldiers sitting in foam wouldn't manage to get paint chipped and bits broken off, right?
