Gooooooood Evening Dakkites, Thanks for stopping by!
My first ever warhammer army was the might Ogre Kingdoms, however I played mostly Tomb Kings and all I remember was getting raped for my low leadership Because it was my first ever army I had no concept of tactics or strategy I just lost a lot, so I moved on to other exploits always wanting to return to them. I recently got my hands on a copy of the army book and had a dabble at writing a 2400pt list. I've played Ogres in my 'warhammer career', but I never paid attention to what I was playing. Of course I know the areas to exploit and I am because I'm competitive, my main concern is my core, I don't know how to build Ogre blocks. All comments, questions and criticisms welcomed!
Lords
Slaughtermaster, Level 4 (Lore of Beasts), Armour of Destiny, Challening Staff, Fencers Blades (385)
Heroes
Bruiser, Battle Standard Bearer, Heavy Armour, Ironfist, Tailsman of Preservation, Ironcurse Icon (188)
Butcher, Level 2 (Lore of the Maw), Ironfist, Hellheart (188)
Core
Ogre Bulls (15), Ironfists, Champion, Musician, Banner, Look out Gnoblar (515)
Gnoblars (10), Trappers (50)
Gnoblars (10, Trappers (50)
Special
Sabretusks (3 x 1) (63)
Leadbelchers (6), Musician (268)
Mournfang Riders (3), Ironfists, Heavy Armour, Champion, Musician, Standard, Dragonhide Banner (290)
Rare
Ironblaster (2) (340)
I'm about 63 points short and have no idea where to put them or if my list is worth the cyberspace its printed on. Charecters and unit go Horde formation flanked by gnob's and blasters. then lead's and mourn cover flanks
So... how bad did I do?

Well to start your list falls in line with lots of competitive ogre builds. It has 2 ironblasters(which most tournys limit to 2), it has at least one unit of mournfang, single sabretusks as redirecters and charge blockers, a slaughtermaster as the general. These next few critiques are not that your build is wrong but my opinion and how things work well where i game. Slaughtermaster: if you use fencers blades take glittering scales as well. the crown of command is also very very nice option when combined with the standard of discipline. the lore of beasts is nice but the maw on your level 4 is money when you are getting off buff after buff on already tough units. Butcher: no need for the level 2, take a lore like beasts where you know all you really want is the signature spell and just use him as a scroll caddy and to cast that one spell. Core: the ogre horde is daunting and scary but VERY VERY hard to move around. It goes foward very well but turning that thing is very hard. I usually run smaller blocks of 8 ogre bulls with my main cadre of characters going into an irongut unit because the ironguts can take a magic banner(standard of discipline), also great for killing anything. I usually run 2 units of 8 bulls and a unit of 10 ironguts. Gives me a solid battle line of tough units to kill off. Gnoblar trappers are great but situational. Special: 3 sabretusks are good, keep that as is. Leadbelchers are good but not my top choice. If you are going to run them use them in units of 4 and run a pair. Mournfang are arguably the best unit in the game. The problem i see the way you are running them is that you have a 50 point magic banner on a 9 wound bullet magnet. If you want to use the dragonhide banner, get your moneys worth and run a unit of 4. My preferance is to run 2 units of 3 with nothing but a musician, heavy armor, and ironfists. Rare: 2 ironblasters is competitive but i have never needed more then one. If you have a monster heavy meta then bring 2 by all means.

Decent list.
You've got a 515 point block, that's going to be joined by some very expensive characters. Stubborn crown is well worth it. Right now, if you get out of position and take a flank charge, it's game over. I'd drop the channelling staff, and the fencers blades in favor of the stubborn crown.
I like lead belchers, but I found that I needed LOTS of them to work. A single unit of 6 isn't going to do enough, and you could really use another unit that can punch in melee. I'd swap them for 6 Iron Guts.
By dropping the channel staff, and the 63 points you already had, you can now grab that 4th mournfang, or get a command and banner for the ironguts.
I'd keep both cannons. You want to be able to drop a daemon prince before he's safely in melee.

I'll agree with the first critique. I know it goes against the keep core to a minimum 25%, but remember our core isn't empire Halbrediers. I find that 2 units of 8-10 bulls and one unit if the same size of ironguts is very very scary. That's ~30 wounds with 18+ attacks not mentioning impact and stomps. It allows you to mitigate a flank charge and still be a boss.
I have next to no experience with gnoblars so I can't speak to that.
With the leadbelchers I find that 6 of them do wonders to a t3 army and nothing against a t4 army. Ymmv.
Good luck and may your battles provide much food for the maw.

I would change the sm to maw, the burgher as level 2 can be awesome if he gets kadon.... Throw 6 dice at it and go for he dragon. Can be crazy. Otherwise he's a good buffer.
Drop the gnoblars. Unless your faing a super tough 50 man block of baddies who are gonna charge you ( wich they won't when they learn they are trappers) they do nothing. Instead boost your bulls horde. I've used blocks of 18+ not counting characters.... And it's scary. Don't worry about turning or moving it around. If you plan right it doesn't need to do that. Just charge em forward. (Keeping your maw buffs active) the bsb should really only need his sta card of discipline, maybe a GW. Stick him in the bulls. The look out gnoblar also a waste IMHO. - mournfangs. 4 of em. Standard, ha, if, dhb done. Ladies are great - in a unit of 6 or more. So are maneaters. I like 2 pistols each, and poison / scout special rules. Min 4 in the group. Otherwise, the double iron blaster is nice but I find often overkill. Take 1 and use the extra points for other stuff.

Thanks so much for the advice guys, alot of you are saying a block of 8 and 10, but what frontage do I use? where should I put my charecters? what about command for both units?

•
Ironblaster
Basically i had an irongut unit with a slaughtermaster and full command in the front rank then bsb in the second. it was 4 wide 3 deep. 1 unit of ogres was 4 wide 2 deep and the other unit of ogres had the butcher and that went 3x3. Everyone assumed that both units of gnoblars had trappers so they avoided both when only one was pointed at an actual high value target. The blocks were very hard to kill(except for cron, cauldron, and 40 witches) and in every game but 1 the ironguts survived and one unit of bulls died twice and the other only once in 5 games. The sabretusks actually got to an empire warmachine line and killed 2 machines. The cannon only died once to a bloodthurster. I would have changed things to drop the dragonhide banner from the mournfang. It wasnt overly necessary. By dropping that and both units of gnoblars(which did well, hard to drop these) and a sabretusk it would have given me a firebelly just to launch fireballs all over the table. He would then make the 4x2 unit of ogres 3x3
