Does anyone know which Forge World book had the Tau fleet rules in it? Also is it still available through FW or do I have to go hunting for second hand books?

Thank you so much!!! But, now I will have to do some research. All they have is the Second Edition and i'm betting the Tau BFG rules have been ripped out of it by big brother GW... Probably reselling the original with the BFG rules carefully cut out with a band saw.

Looks like the rules are in there as they should be. Now I edited the title to hopefully get some info here. I am curious if any of you have ordered the tau ships from Shapeway and more importantly this Mc_Cloud fellow. Curious if he has been a good sport in the past to you fine gentlemen.

Remains a pity Shapeways is so darn expensive.

It's a darn shame that 3d printing isn't cheaper yet. Oh well...I think between now and 5 years things might be different though.

I'm looking at those Shapeway Tau ships, just wondering how relieable the source is before I dumb a few hundred bucks on it.

Yeah - im about to get some chaos ships from there - I will also get the Tau vessels in time (the Mc_Cloud ones - absolutely awesome - but I do want frosty detail and thats £££... or Euros... whatever)

Malika has some. But it all about the detail level you order. It is worthwhile to spent more money on a better quality.

I don't really care for the Firestorm Armada minitures in place for Tau. I do like them for standins for Space Marines or Imperial, but they just don't look enough like Tau for my liking.

Or might you go for a fleet mix? - I like both styles, thought there is something v pleasing about the curves of a Tau Protector Class Cruiser for FW rule models.
