Hello,
I just upgraded to an android phone and I am seeing some navigation issues on the site. It very well could be me or a setting on the device, but I am on able to use Forum Tools and Thread Tools on my phone. When I tap them, nothing happens. I used both Chrome and the default browser on the device with no success.
Is it just me or a compatibility issue with Android and Dakka?

My Android phone has no problem, have you tried zooming to make sure that you aren't misclicking?
It would also help to know your phone and what version of android you are running.

My Android tablet is works fine with Dakka. Dunno whether it's any different to an Android phone but...

Its probably just Lego hasn't had enough time to make sure the website is fully compatible since the S5 came out fairly recently, he'll probably just have to put it on his list (if it isn't already) and get around to it at some point.

I've not had a chance to test beyond jelly bean on android yet. What exactly happens when you try to click those links, and are there any other issues happening? Is this with samsung's built in browser, or with a specifically installed copy of chrome or firefox?
When they updated to jelly bean they changed how a few things worked which made the navigation links a bit funky. On samsung browser on 4.3 it is possible to make the menus popup, but you have to hold your finger on them until the browser menu pops up, then press back to make that menu go away. After that they work on 4.3 but it is messy and since it is my main mobile device, a fix is planned as a fairly high priority (along with a big pile of other mobile fixes for various devices).

I tried using Dakka on both the built in browser as well as Chrome. Same behavior. I tried the hold tip you gave and it will pull up the menus maybe 25% of the time. When I hit back, it tends to close the pop up menu too.

I've had similar problems with the forum tools on my android phone, sometimes it will select whatever happens to be behind the list, if it shows up. Its hit and miss really, but it hasn't been a severe problem.

I've always had problems selecting the drop down menus on the s3 built in browser. Ended up just bookmarking the pages.

MasterSlowPoke, that is a really annoying android 'feature' which they added to make it 'easier' to read text. As you see though, it breaks loads of old designs/formatting and is one of the many things on my to-fix list. I get the same result on my phone as well. I'm working through some critical email system bugs at the moment, then it will be on to the mobile rewrite.
