It's fantasy season here on the isle of man, and after months of
40k i'm finally ready for a break. Yesterday however i went to a carboot, and found something very good. Very very good. Well lets me show you;
With the exception of the base elf and dwarf character cards (i'll have to ebay them, or print new versions) it's a complete set. Everything i need for warhammer quest. The price? £3.
Yup. I didn't even blink when i handed over the money, it's a phenominal find and it's probably going to consume my summer. I'm going to be cleaning it up (removing spur lines), painting it up, learning the rules, working out what other bits to buy and probably trying to trade for the old expansions. Given the price its worth however i did decide to bag everything and check it all off. I'm damned impressed with it all.
Honestly though, the amount of stuff in this box is insane. It's making me wonder where
GW's gone wrong, it completely out classes even dark vengence for quantity and quality. Either way, the next few weeks are going to be fun. I'll also have some dark elf stuff for a tournie to paint up so that'll give me a nice break from the
40k stuff for a few weeks.
