So I was wondering since we are in full tilt pants-on-head, hide-the-women-and-children-in-bunker rumor mode, might as well guestimate what the new Objective Cards would be under the new system. I encourage others to make up what they think the cards might say! So here is begins the completely arbitrary and totally in line with GW thinking objectives for the upcoming new edition. 1. Buy a 7th Edition Limited Edition Rulebook before the end of the turn. 2 Victory Points 2. If your opponent is Tau or Imperial Guard, get a model into Close Combat. We dare you. 3 Victory Points 3. Start and finish a C.S. Goto novel before the end of the game. 69 Victory Points

1. If it's daytime in your city: Night Fighting does not apply (2 VP to an army without any unit sporting Night Vision)
2. If it's night-time in your city: Night Fighting applies to all game turns (2 VP to an army with any unit sporting Night Vision)
3. If it's dawn time (5-7 AM): Auto Night Fighting on the 2 initial game turns. No Warlord Trait, wargear, psychic power or special ability can change this. No other game turn can has Night Fighting on. (1 VP to each player)
4. If it's dusk time (5-7 PM): Auto Night Fighting on game turn 5+. No Warlord Trait, wargear, psychic power or special ability can change this. No other game turn can has Night Fighting on. (1 VP to each player)
5. Destroy the green army. (Orks/75% Nurgle armies give +2 VP)
6. Destroy the black army (Space Marines (of all kinds) armies give +2 VP)
7. Destroy the white army (Necrons give +2 VP)
8. Destroy the red army (75% Khorne/75% Slaanesh armies give +2 VP)
9. Destroy the blue army (Tau/75% Tzeentch armies give +2 VP)
10. Destroy the yellow army (Tyranids give +2 VP)
11. Conquer the enemy territory: have at least two of your Troops units in his/her deploy zone at the end of the game, while keeping any of his/her standing there - Flying units don't count to either side. (5 VP)
12. Blitz: have a Heavy Support unit in the enemy deploy zone up to turn 2, two Troops units in the middle zone and a Flyer on the field at turn 2. If you do not possess a Heavy Support unit AND a Flyer unit in your list, pick another card. (39 VP. You must say 'Lebensraum' at the end of the game or the points don't count. If your opponent is Czech or Austrian, you must say 'Anchluss' instead.)
13. Speartip: You cannot have units within 24" of the side borders at any moment of the game, outside your deployment zone. This card isn't valid in a Vanguard Strike deployment map - pick another card. (3 VP)
14. Late Surprise: All objectives are 'Sabotaged!' and do trigger with any unit finishing its move (in any Phase) within 3" of any. Having no model killed by any objective confers the Victory Points given by this card. If you're playing 'Purge the Alien' or 'The Relic' missions, this card isn't valid - pick another card. (2 VP)
15. A Bloody, Muddy, Foggy, Windy and Rainy Storm: no unit can shoot at units beyond 24". Any weapon with S6 or more ignores this, but always hits the closest unit to the initial target. Any effect that allows re-roll To Hit rolls doesn't work. All charges are halved in distance. Any unit failing its second Regroup test automatically rallies if inside its deploy zone; if it isn't, it's removed from play.
If you and your opponent still want to play this, each get 2 VP for each game turn played in such circumstances. You get +5 VP if you win a game you drew this miserable excuse for objective card. Just like England's weather.

18. Earn a victory point for each former 40k player playing Xwing, Attack Wing, Infinity, Warmachine, Hordes, ect. in your vicinity when you win a roll against your opponent when determining the outcome of "the most important rule" - rolling off to settle a rules dispute.

Uncover Dark Age of Technology bioweapons cache. Resurrect 2nd edition "Virus Outbreak" card and apply all effects to your opponent (or maybe just to their army if you're feeling generous).

STC: You obtain a STC. If you have any Imperial aligned models in your army Warhammer 40k ends as the Imperium has won. Call Games Workshop and mail us proof and the card. We will immediately pull all 40k merchandise everywhere.Play Fantasy Battle or something.
If not Imperial you get +2 victory points.
