I threw up a 1000 put fast attack list a few months ago and got great feed back, however, upon further reading of other viable ork troop combinations, I came up with this. Please tell me what you think.

-Warboss

Mega armr
Attk squig
Cybork body
Boss pole

-Mega Nobz (Warboss' s unit)

All with shoota/skorcha combi

-Burna boyz (13x) with a mek and accompanied by a BW

KMB on the mek

BW with Zzap gun, Def rolla, and a big shoota
-11 slugga Boyz with a nob in a truck

PK
Eavy armr (nob)
BP
big shoota (trukk)
Boarding plank

-Deffkoptaz (2 individual Koptaz not a unit of 2)

TL rokkit launchaz

- Kannon (3x)

Looks like a serious lack of models for an ork list. all the BS 2 shooty upgrades to the transports are going to be almost useless. get a second deffrolla

Idk why you would add the mek in the burna boys squad.

how many mega nobz are you taking with the warboss?

The Mek is to provide the KFF for the BW. Also, there are 4 meganobz srry fer the lack of detail and there is only one BW in my army whuch the burnaboyz and the mek will be in

If you're going for a mobile/speed army, I'm curious as to why you're taking Big Gunz (Kannons)? I'd drop the points to go for more Deffkoptas, if you have the models for them, with the TL Rokkits for the mobile hitting power/tank hunting.

Also you have a mek listed with kustom mega blasta in your list, i assumed it was a mekboy not a big mek with KFF.

ya apologies on the mek confusion, wrote this list late last night and spaced on the fact hat meks and big meks are two totally different things

Automatically Appended Next Post:
k so with canning the kannons I came up with some extra points to get a big mek with a KFF into the BW, however, I'm wondering if its even worth it or should i just invest in more deff koptaz like diesel said

Usually if you ask the Ork players here, you'll get a hung jury in regards to the KFFs. You'll get people who'll swear by them and then you'll get others (like myself) who'll never field them. So my suggestion would be to try it yourself to see how it comes out.

Are you using one of the BWs for transport for your MANZ by any chance?

EDITed; What did you plan on doing? And could you cleanup and rewrite the list?

I am the kinda ork that takes his own washing machine apart, puts new bearings in it, then puts it back together, and it still works.

You need a mek with kmb or better bigshoota in a squad of burnas so that they can allocate wounds over their template distance up to 36'.

Hard to say about zzap gun - it sure is fun but super unreliable and will almost never do much on a wagon. Cause you want to go flat-out turn 1. I'd better take just 1 or 2 bigshootas. But Zzap is probably fine too if you got nowhere else to spend your points.

Don't take boarding planks on a truck. There are close to zero chances of using them effectively. Probably only if you meet a character-dreadnaught or a dread that's gona kill the whole squad of boyz before striking - blood angel's talon something. Or a super-heavy walker. But even so, your chances of riding a 10-10-10 huge open-topped vehicle across the board are really slim. Take a reinforced ram instead. Will at least be helpful not to get stuck in a wood on the way there.

Take max ammo runts for kannons. They're a must.

If possible for you to model, i'd take bigshootas on nobz instead of regular boyz. You get some protection and precision shots. One lucky precision shot can make a game sometimes. Besides, you don't loose boy'z equipment.

So after reading some posts (and realizing how atrociously I organized the list) here is my consideration for a new lineup

Warboss is the same but with an ammo runt (needed to fill up some points in the end

-Big Mek
KFF

-Burna Boyz (12x) will be goin in my Tankier BW with the Big Mek

-Ork Boyz (19x) will be goin in the other BW with my warboss

-Ork Boyz (11x) w/ a trukk ( boarding plank, ref. ram, red paint job)

Nob
BP
PK
Eavy Armr (nob only)

- 2 deffkoptaz (individual units) with TL rokkits

- Battle wagon ( Warboss and boyz wagon)

Def rolla
RPJ
Boarding plank
Grot riggers

- Battle wagon

Grot riggers
Armr plates

(All boyz in my list are slugga and Choppa)

To fine tune this just slightly, I'd suggest the following:

Drop:
BW1: Boarding Plank & Grot Riggers (-10 points)

BW2: Armor Plates & Grot Riggers (-15 points)

Trukk: Boarding Plank, Reinforced Ram, RPJ) (-15 points)

Nob: Bosspole

Pickup:
1 Deffkopta w/ TL Rokkit Launcha

Reasoning: You are more than likely not going to be able to get close to a vehicle for the boarding planks or reinforced ram to be effective on the Trukk. At least, not unless you really catch your opponent sleeping. Trukks seem to be a favored target right now just because how insanely easy it is for them to be popped. Your Battlewagons are pretty much armored personnel carriers since you didn't take any weapons with them (save for the deffrolla, but more on that later), so grot riggers are pretty much useless. The only time I've ever found riggers to be useful is in APOC games where my BWs have been immobilized and the other team found something else to shoot at before they got munched. So the Grots get das boot. While we're at it, the Armor Plating and Boarding Planks are also useless in this case since your opponent (again, unless you catch them sleeping) is going to be pouring fire into your BWs just because he/she doesn't want whatever nasties you have in there coming out in the middle of their lines.

So with that said, KEEP your Deffrolla and your RPJ on the one BW. at the least, it will soak up some fire for you while your opponent sweats at the prospect of something of his taking D6 S10 hits. Hopefully that will allow you to get some units into position.

A third Deffkopta (the reason why I shaved some points on your list) would give you more tank hunting options. I pray that your dice are better than mine in that you'll score some pens with them.

WAAAGH on, my friend.

Appreciate it, had no idea riggers were so useless.

Yeah, 99 times out of 100 your BW is toast before the riggers can be of any use. :(

Try to fit in 2 20 boy squads in battlewagons and then make your one trukk the burna drive by. You will still be able to fit basically all your burnas but those larger boy squads will be much more effective.
