Not where I should be

Love those assassins dude, great work.

Sorry yet another one from me, but I am quite proud of this one. I know it is not as amazing as many of the great work around here.

This is for Gitsplitta's Mantis Warrior Competition..

I'm quite happy with the way my little Squat Engineseer turned out. He will definitely be required with all the technical equipment I have planned for my army :

Awesome stuff! love the colours used on their chests, and the cloaks, the variation across the squad is really nice to see and all the different colours pull together really well. Inspiring me to get my DE underway! But alas! I must finish my orks So time to share a couple

My latest Model to make it through the whole process (minus grassing his base) without me moving on to another model

And now my current painting WIP, Infact I am really looking forward to completing this dude as last night I airbrushed the squig to look like a magical squig and it looks so funky like a rainbow!

This is my best conversion so far.. (not finished yet.. needs some more painting and the rider isn't done yet. And I keep stalling it because I'm working on the biggest project of my life yet; The Ancient Fenrisian Temple Fortress Battle Boards. )

I've combined the elven dragon horns, wings and base with the carnosaurus body from the lizard men. Because I wanted a real dragon, not that stylized skinny wonky looking dragon that the original high elf dragon is. A dragon doesn't care for color schemes or such, it only cares for tearing the flesh from you bones or melting your favorite ice cream with its fiery breath. I wanted it to impose fear on to my enemies when I deploy it to the battle field... as is described in the rules and the fluff. So it should be big, though and mean looking. But that's just my opinion

Beautiful Remco. You know.... a second set of wings on that thing would be very cool (and appropriate given it's bulk). And you've got the space on the body for it too.

I've always appreciated the traditional Warhammer Dragon. The mash-up between western & eastern dragon designs was a clever way to solve (or at least mitigate) the problems of such 'big metal model'.

That said though:

That is freaking amazing!

I always liked the Vulkan battlesuits that Target Games used to make for Warzone. The trouble was that they were massively armoured but had the pilot's bare head stuck out of the top and it really bothered me... so I decided to fill in the area and put a screen there. I also decided to convert a few weapons to add a little flavour. Although these are very simple conversions, I feel that they work very well (especially now that there is some armour protecting the head):

Probably my favourite 3 out of a unit of tankbustas i just converted up
I like to make semi-themed ork characters as its so easy to design their weapons around stupid orksies

Dude on the left basically fires melta bombs like frizbies, whereas the middle ork uses his Aimin' Axe to throw his clusterbombs that explode in the air and shoot rockets all over town, 33% of the time, he hits everytime.
And finally we have the Nob busta! simple flash git conversion using the mini rocket ammo chains, he fires of a salvo off mini cork-screwing rockets.
