Considering "force" the psychic ability, to which I assume you are referring; says that daemons can not take it. I would suggest the answer would be, no.

Retconning myself lol

At first I was reading "Force" as saying its a blessing that confers to a weapon of the psyker and his unit Force and Instant death, but it just gives their weapons that ALREADY HAVE THE FORCE SPECIAL RULE, instant death (Why? who bloody knows) Kinda redundant in my eyes.

Just to assign it warp charge and include it in the new phase I guess.

How long does it stay activated now? Can you Force Weapon someone on their turn?

I would imagine it would depend on how many charges you have left to spend from your previous turn perhaps? That is a good question Eldarain.

Best bet on the force tree is that when they update the grey knights book that they will be using it alot.


Instead of their brotherhood banner, they will now have to use a warp charge or 2 to activate their force weapons.


Also, think of it this way: say your using tigurius and have warp speed. You now have 5 base attacks at str 6, init. 7 all with the force rule. Wouldnt you like it if with your extra dice in your psychic phase, you could ensure all your melee attacks for the next 2 assault phases all had instant death?

This would also allow you to save your charges on your opponents turn to deny his powers.

Or perhaps iirc the D6 + ML you get during your opponents Psychic phase probably carries over to your assault phase and you might use those dice to activate Force Weapons then.

Force is a blessing and lasts until the start of your next psychic phase. You use it on your turn, and it lasts until the start of your next turn.

Grey knights are liking the new +2 strength hammerhand. I'm liking the idea of squads of Str 6 Init 6 guys with instant death attacks.

You cannot cast powers on your oponents turn, the dice you get are for dispelling their powers. As was mentioned, force lasts until your next turn, so would be active during both combat phases. This was obviously made this way to require a warp charge point as it always has and to make it so you have to use it during the psychic phase.
