Not sure if it slipped under their radar, or they are cool with showing them, but they are clearly new, I don't even recognize the pieces on them, and I have a pretty good memory for that kind of thing. Found it in the ork rumor roundup, thought people might miss it and decided to repost so they might not be glossed over looking at the mortanaught.

the nauts are just sexy as hell, and i'll probably sacrifice a lot of bitz kitbashing one or two lol.

As for the nobz, they could just be the rumored new plastic kits with no real new wargear, just new appearance. Aside from a deepstrike rule, or non-visual upgrades (cybork armor for instance), i dont know what they could add to them that would make sense. They arent gun platforms like terminators tend to be, theyre living walkers with pincerklaws lol. Though i had to admit i find it odd they dont use twinlinked BIG shootas, which would negate the no-running side effect since they could always shoot something.

Anyway. I'd guess its BIG, but slightly smaller then a riptide, therefore "not quite there" for superheavy status.

I wonder how its other version (gorkanaut) looks like now, and what it does.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.

Its real simple - get rid of MegaNobz, add MegaArmour option to the Nob squad. IE just give them what Nobz have now and whatever it is Nobz get in 7th.

Their random lack of bosspoles, cybork etc (on the most wealthy Orks, and so the ones most likely to have such things...) really cripples them at the moment.

I'd say it's the orky answer to the Land Raider, really, a well-armored vehicle torn between its duties as a fire support tank and an assault platform.

Not really no, because orks are more about charging into combat than shooting fancy guns. Aside from increasing their rate of fire with a Gatling gun or something like that (but not strength or ap), any better shootyness wouldnt make sense. However special rules such as giving them a damn bosspole, cybork armor, and their own painboy would be fantastic.

Also, to the comments of "That thing is awfully big to not be a superheavy" - wraithknight is just as tall as Warhounds, and it isnt a gargantuan creature (THANK GOD). I could see them giving this thing some kinda anti-damage charge rule though, just leave out the other super-heavy-walker rules (still succumb to Explodes! like supers do, mind you)

Also, 5 freakin HP? holy crap! Thats enough HP where glancing to death just got difficult, even though its not AV14. My tau might have issues facing a couple of those, barring lucky damage chart rolls with a fusion bomb.

Yeah like im going to buy those. If i buy them for all my units thats ~80pts down the drain since most likely only 1 unit will use it. If i only bring one unit with it, that one unit will be focused to gak and back. Plus, any unit i charge that thing with will most likely die either from fighting it to begin with or the orks that are most likely just behind it or inside it.

I believe "it's a trap" is the quote I'm looking for, although swarms of fire warriors with an ethereal to make them not run sprinting up the board into the face of ork firepower to try and get their haywire grenades in range does paint quite a humorous mental image.

Me either, but more because everything ignores it not i just fail the save. My battlewagons are the only thing that usually get that cover save, and yes i usually fail that lol.

I was actually kinda shocked the FAQ didnt change it. Its kinda regarded as total crap now in such a heavy ignores cover meta, but we take it anyway because we have no choice when we go mecha orks or green tide. Because at least we get it against SOME attacks.
