So I'm keen to make up a inquisition allied detachment using the Militarum Tempestus Scion models for warrior acolytes.
I also want to have a female iunquisitor leading them, preferable power armour but i cant find a nice base models to do some conversions on for this. looked through ebay at some non games workshop models which might work but haven't found much. likewise using games workshop models i can only really seem to find dark eldar wyche conversions...
was wondering if any1 has seen any cool convertible female models if so if you could share them here it'd be much appreciated.
(and yes i know there are sisters of battle models but they're metal and kinda my last resort provided i don't find any nice plastic/resin models)
We are the sons of Sanguinius, the protectors of Mankind. Aye, we are indeed the Angels of Death.
I just finished one such model last night, and found myself in a similar connundrum as you--there just were not very many good plastic or resin female power armor models available. On a whim I used DreamForge Games "Ada" model that I had laying around and it turned out pretty well. I can get pictures up later this evening, but this model is a solid foundation for starting a conversion of this type. I left the arms off (though that gun might make a good hellrifle proxy) and used Dark Eldar Kabalite Warrior arms thanks to their slender size. I shaved off the spikes and ornate details on the DE armor which was necessary thanks to Ada's rather unadorned armored suit. I also ditched Ada's head, but finding a good replacement head might be tough. Some Elven head bits might be useful, especially if you alter the ears to look human (or cover them with green stuff) but I took the easy route and used another Dark Eldar bit.

Spoiler:
Here is my conversion. I am calling the splinter pistol a needle pistol, and the wych dagger a Scythian venom talon. The phantasm grenade launcher on the figure's back will represent a Rad grenade launcher.
I'm in a similar situation, raging heros kick starter should start shipping soon which has a frew very inquisitor looking models, especially in the KST and Iron empire ranges.
As for female parts the vampire counts covern throne thing looks good for female torsos and heads with a little work, and banshees would be ok for sanctioned although power armoured lower halfs are the problem.
Have you looked at warmachine models? They are nearly the same size, only a bit larger. And they have a few cool posed female models. Switch out the weapons and add a few inquisitorial details and they would work. Alternatively if you have a bit of time on your hand browse through the large selection of female minis from reaper miniatures. There are probably a few suiteable candidates in there as well.
Two possible candidates:
