Are there any battle reports that have Eldar losing? I'd like to find out how to beat them before my campaign picks up next week.

My second cousin saw Eldar lose a battle once. It was in the Yucatan two summers ago. Unfortunately his camera fell in the river on the way back and all that survived was a fuzzy picture of a hand lifting a wraithknight. People say the hand could just be moving the wraithknight into close combat, but my second cousin swears it was being removed from the table.

I played a game against eldar with a fire prism, warwalkers, and a wave serpent. I won.

It can be done, even by Dark Angels.

The fact that I rolled like a god with 2 TL-LC shots and exploded the FP and Wave serpent turn 1 (while he failed his cover saves) may have something to do with it.

I found grainy, black and white footage of an Eldar loss, but it was out of focus and men in black suits that talked strangely came and took the film away.

I lost a game playing elder!
To be fair I wasn't fielding any vehicles, wraith-anything or spiders.

Every other game I played as eldar I won. I went from 7 to 4 wave serpents because I felt bad about tabling people without any casualties. I still haven't lost (but came close against a 3-helldrake list in 6th).

I've lost a game with my eldar, however it was against another eldar player with more wave serpents and warwalkers. I know I've also seen at least teo battle report on youtube where eldar lost, I think both were team0comp eldar against daemons.

Yeah... GOOD question indeed.... But you don't win against eldar by winning, you win by not getting tabled(unless you pack a REAAAAAAALLY big stack of cheese in your army)... I will play vs Eldar with Smash bros chapter masters, wish me luck with that... Even with 2 near immortal hard hitting chaptermasters of doom FOLLOWED WITH A CHAPLAIN and his commandsquad with APOTHECARY AND 4 gravguns AND STORM SHIELDS i don't feel really confident....

I won back in 4th ed against and eldar player who was cheating. I was playing nids and he claimed that he was getting cover saves for having moved even though he had never moved. It was first turn i I went before him.

Either way i soundly squashed him. But that was years ago in a galaxy far far away from the current cheese dex.

Well perhaps the Iron hands are the ONLY marine army i can think of standing a chance vs eldar... 6+ FNP... it doesn't seems like a lot, but the way i think of this is: I imagine all the Marines i lost from Shuriken weapons, and then 1/6th of them come back.... Turboboost their notorious chapter master, and allied BT chapter master with TH/shield Eternal in their teeth turn 1, drop a pieplate(s) if possible, and then smash them, pray to the Emperor, repeat.

I seem to remember one on here where Reecius played Footdar(no idea what he was smoking, he's a little 'special' in my opinion anyway) versus a more competitive Cron list. Cron's smacked him around good.

I won a tournament w Mecrons Flying circus. I faced several deaddar players. They really didn't put a dent in me.

I once tabled an Eldar list with 3 Wraith Knights & Wave Serpents with my World Eaters w/ Word Bearer allies.

Finally found my quote from a gym buddy born and raised in South Korea:
"It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press.
"It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.
"It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.
"It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag."

As requested:
First a loss against space marines: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tzTn5HVFnLo
One against daemons: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=60Zzv7k1eM4
And a second one against daemons: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BWuEo0jQGrg

However compered to the amount of wins made by that eldar army these losses are quite rare and far between, not to mention that it uses quite different units to the normal tournament eldar armies.

It's amazing that a simple typo in the eldar codex has caused such a huge impact. That pesky zero in the serpent shield range continues to haunt the 40k community.

Haha well I almost won against Eldar with Tyranids the other day.

...if only the game had ended on turn 5 I would've won by several VPs, but alas it went on to turn 6 and I was beaten in the end.

So what everyone seems to be saying is: play Demons or White Scars.

I'm hoping that the 7th edition changes will help with the balance: making Eldar psykers less reliable, jink or shoot, everything scoring, etc.

Knowing that I can't out shoot them or beat them in combat or overwhelm them with tanks...is it possible to overwhelm them with infantry? Could I load up on conscripts, give them a priest and march up to an objective and refuse to leave?

How come you think its a typo? While I do agree the shield has insane range making their only transport option that usually cost over 130 points having to get that close seems silly.
