Man, building upwards from it made the whole thing look a lot more orky all of a sudden. Excellent work - and best of luck finishing it!

I wouldnt built it any taller, keep the plate you have built on the left side as the walls of the firepoint, not walls supporting a roof with a firepoint.

Cover over the right hand side with a plate and adda turret or two on that. a fairly tall turret so it is not recesed into the space below, which is full of orks.

You see even orks can go by less is more. Too many people make their ork big stuff ranshackle and tall with rickety frames layerr after layer. If you look at the ork vehicles from epic and forgeowlrd they are squat and brooding.

If you keep it as I just showed you, glyphed it up and added the sponsons and an odd turret or two you will have a very balsy brooding vehicle that will look like it desrves the Av14 it gets.

You have plenty of comic relief in your vehicles, you need something to balance them, a 'coming to get you' vehicle. If you ever want to jolly it up simply leave the large firing platform free and add different bits to it. Such as lobbas, grot bombs an 'uge howitza or whatever. Keep it plain ans simple, with no more than an internal hatch or two, if that.

This is one of the coolest thing to monitor in here. Nice photo editing too.

I am a bit surprised that everyone's ideas generally lead to me closing off the front with a ramped surface like what the kannon is built into. I didn't really see myself doing that, but I'll give it some thought.

This is so wonderfully done I hesitate to suggest anything. Really nice work here.
Still, where are the exhaust pipes going to be? It just wouldn't feel orky without lots and lots of oversized grungy exhaust everywhere. Just two or three on a piece this sized doesn't seem to cut it.

I've plans for a massive engine in the back, no worries. It'll probably be one of the things I do after I get the initial structure squared off, though, since I am not sure how much into the baneblade's hull I am going to cut to try and seat a cylindrical fuel tank in there.

So, here are my thoughts.

The top section where you don't know what to put there? That's where I'd put, either, the Grot bomb or (preferably) the turret.

As of right now, your turret will have a 90 degree fire arc.
Moving the Grot Bomb will make it 180 degrees, at least.
Putting it on top would give it a 360 degree arc. It doesn't matter that there's a cannon right below it. It'll work if Booma believes in himself enough.

The area next to the cannon that you can't think of something for would be a good access area. Put an armored door on the front of the armored compartment right there - behind Booma in the image below- (for sh**s and grins, you could model a "Not Welkum" matt in front of the door). It might require an extension to the compartment if you don't want them to have to "stoop" to get in... Or, an access hatch on the "floor" (right under Boomas feet in THIS image):

Another thought is for your "sponsons."
Since you're making them like bunkers, it would be awesome if you made the slits wide enough for shootas to stick out of. then, you could mount shootas INSIDE the "bunker" on swivels that will allow the barrels to be moved once the top is put on.

Whaddaya think?

This is gonna be a really cool ork baneblade.
I enjoyed the pictures.
I love your death roller xD

I noticed the guardsman of yours.
I guess this is a baneblade commander's body with a pig iron head and cadian arms and weapon.
I like it. Just an experiment or a wonderful start of a new themed IG Army with coats?
Do you have more pics of GW miniatures with pig iron heads?

Luv it. Only problem is that you really do need to make up your mind on the design. I envy the Deff Rolla though, beautiful craftsmanship.
