Yay, the return of Stelek! Was getting dull around here.
I do fear this army. It has a lot of advantages, and anyone you see with it has spent enough that they are VERY unlikely to be a total N00b and thus make mistakes with priests, faith decisions, etc. (this is the real part of the $/metagame equation)
I like the priests as well as the books. These ladies will win and stick around when they don't.
Stelek, a little explanation on "5th ed sacrifice flies" would be a community service I am sure.
Interspersed cover saves? In a tournament? Are you even serious? Shenanigans. I will not even entertain this notion until I see a video, not a diagram, a video, of someone setting up these orks, and then moving them, legally, within the kind of time limits imposed by most tournaments. As I am as likely to see this video as one of a yeti playing an Ogryn heavy list, I think we can safely ignore this "point."

You aren't allowed to run interspersed units to provide self-generated cover saves at the GT's. Only ONE unit gets the save, the other doesn't.

The problem with this list is that it depends on your opponent doing exactly as you want. Well, if they do that they deserve to be slaughtered...
No, a smart opponent will use your lack of mobility to wittle you down and slowly (there are a lot of them) eat up those troops until they can be assaulted.
Your army is either gonna sit there and take shots while you hope some one walks into rapid fire range or walk around hoping to get melta/muti-melta shots off. Anything with a better than 12" totsl charge range (move and charge) will eat you up in HTH after softening you up with firing.
this list is no where near as tough as mechdar.
BTW, this is the part where you say "you don't get it..."
Please proceed with the precanned response.

Why? I don't think much of your opinions or your flamebait troll tactics.
I almost forgot to put you on ignore, now I won't forget.

Wow! Talk about avoiding the topic. I guess you can ignore me as much as you want. It won't stop me from bringing up valid points. You will notice that I never said this build was weak or stupid. But it isn't as strong as you would like to think. Nor is at as strong as some of your other lists.
Perhaps, instead of ignoring the issue, you can answer it. In the process you, and the rest of the forum including myself, will learn from the conversation.
But that may not be up your alley.

another person who thinks that mechdar are tough? XD
they arent bad, just isolate units, pick off the council and seer (if any)
eldar suffer from crap Toughness, making them great ork bait.
the SOB might sruggle with mechdar, but its possible to get a win.
and stelek, since your around alot, know where the kroot merc list is? was in chap. approved, but since site ruination its gone.

I am not 100% on sisters but... what is their toughness?
There are certainly ways to beat mechdar..especially when they get out of their transports. S5 and single shot high S, low range weapons just aren't it.
I think Orks are way better against mech eldar than this list.
edit: I have that kroot list if you still need it. Just drop me an e-mail at ender502@gmail.com.

ender, each army excells against other armies.
if they were all the same it would be the worst game ever designed.
any race can beat another race, it just comes down to unit selection and how you play those units.
my friends iron hands for example,he has 3 dev squads (all with lascannons) and a lascannon and melta in each tac squad, plus a lascannon on anything else he can take.
he recently played in a tourney, 1st against an AC, he slaughtered them, but against ork he didnt do too well.
once all armour is gone lascannons are expensive just for blowing a boy across the board each turn.
Edit: ender, think you can PM it to me please? my emails down again and cant send or recieve.

@JD: The kroot merc list can be found with a google search, it's gone from most GW sites but since they can't firmly control their own websites it's still up if you look for it.
Torrent of the mercs pdf and Codex Kroot can both be found.
@Biz:
Sure that's easy.
You have a 5 man tactical squad in front of your army.
You see the assault unit coming.
You move the squad forward.
You have other units behind the screening combat squad.
They can be quite a ways away (12 to 18") and out of assault range, but able to move up and rapid fire whatever close combat unit moves in on that combat squad. (See, combat squads take charges and in general get evaporated.)
That's all there is to it.
Sacrifice fly, get the runner home and score.

Bit Torrent has it.
Just deselect all of the ahem 'other' portions of the torrent and download the kroot mercs list only.

This bit of total truthiness is something Stelek hasn't managed to grasp.

I strongly disagree, Mechanized eldar will almost alway manag over a 6 inch move and if they do you need a 6 to even land a hit on them in CC.
Meltas/lascannons stop eldar in thier tracks provided they are deployed and played correctly.
Low range weapons don't sound that good on paper it's true, but I cannot deny the effective ness I have had with meltas in my army nor can I deny the effective ness they have had against me. Plus one melta in the right spot does wonders.

With Zhet... I would suggest giving your Jump cannoness an inferno pistol instead of a bolt pistol. Since jumping to a better fire position and taking the shot can do wonders. and if you immobilize the target all those evisorator attacks auto hit. Its just another place to get a "melta" type weapon. This time with a BS 5
