Balsa wood or some heavy cardstock can do you one better.

You can download some of that textured grate style and paste or glue it to the balsawood.

I think its over at www.Litko.com in the download section.

They have door and floor downloads, as well as that black and yellow industrial markings.

Great I dea to use with your Chromastealerz

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. This is the first time I've seen someone apologize for thread necromancy when the last post was seconds before theirs.

I have ordered from him (he goes by Krak Kirby on Dakka) and his stuff is really nice. I ordered a set of the necromunda stuff years ago and it still holds up today. I recently ordered a pirate ship from him last year and ...it brings tears of joy to my eyes whenever I get to use it in LotHS and envy from my opponents.

When I ordered he was having a 50% off sale and he got a higher response than he would normally expect, so the order took 10 days to arrive.
I was in no hurry to get the items, so I thought the time was reasonable.

Ive tried to contact him. Since he says he does custom orders I asked if he would sell half a walkway. I got no response last Thursday so I just emailed again to see if they are even still in business. It sure looks like they are but you would think I would get a response by now.

Not even if it's Space Corridors, instead?

I remember the owner of Flying Tricylce posted a while back asking for ideas on what we wanted to see.

I suggested industrial towers and space corridors.

Flying Tricycle is usually pretty quick about sending stuff out and the buildings have a good mix of detail and useability (i.e. multiple models actually fit without falling over). Good place to look if, for some reason, you wanted something other than industrial towers and space corridors.

I have tried everything and the flying tricycle website just keeps giving me a page load error.

Could someone please direct me to a place where I could get similar wood terrain.

Hey all, my website is back up and running at http://www.flyingtricycle.com

I will be updating soon with some new desert/orky buildings that are terrific for 5th Edition. Mike Early did some up for his Cagoween event recently. You can see them in progress here: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/221899.page

I'll also have some buildings on a few of the tables at Adepticon. I make my kits to 40K scale, i.e., 3" inches between floors, and large enough to hide/obscure vehicles and place squads inside.

Send me a PM or an email if you have any questions or suggestions!

What does everyone mean by industrial towers and space corridors?

Industrial towers- planetary based, or death star style? How tall? Ruined or complete? How about access? With balconies, stairs, doors at the bottom, all three? Part of a larger building at the base, or freestanding? Large enough for a guard shack or control room, or huge for a planetary defense laser? Let me know what other details or ideas you have...

Towers are a definite possibility, as I can make individual kits that may retail from as little as $15.00, to large kits for $40 to $50.

Space corridors - with wall sections or just floor tiles? General Imperial decoration or plain? For playing 40K in a shipboard setting, or other smaller games, or roleplaying?

Understand that to cover a 4x6 table with space corridors uses a lot of material. Even assuming a 25% empty area to 75% terrain ratio, you're talking about 18 square feet of terrain. Thats about 9 sheets of plywood material from my laser, without wall sections at all. Add wall sections and you are talking about 25 to 30 sheets of material. Retail for this would run approximately $180.00 for floors, and $600.00 for floors and walls. I don't know how many people would be able to afford it and interested in buying it, but I feel very few would.

Geez way to get all technical about everybody's favorite terrain. Almost sucks the fun out of mindless repetition! We just want some Space Corridor craziness to spice up the Industrial Tower town.
