i dont think hawks are as inneffective as everyone says they are

i have used them to -great- success in small points games (750ish) mostly against my friends tau and tyranid

those shots add up, coupled with the fact you can outmanuver anyone

even got the oppoturnity to toast a dreadnaught with haywire grenades, ten rolls on a glancing hit chart is devestating

like most things eldar, they are pretty fragile, but in the role they are defined they make good mass killers with a little added bonus of the grenade pack

that said, a small increase to the strength or ap on the weapon would make them a bit more commonly used, it is a bit disheartening to see that my super advanced eldar technology is only a lasgun

one weapon = one test.

your pathfinders still cause a pinning test for every model they kill, as there is multiple pinning weapons in the unit.
