Let it go, you got your Halfrican-American president now, it's our turn to be unreasonably critical.

I voted McCain mister. If you see some of my other posts in locked threads, I think Obama makes the US look weak.

I just can't but help think that the two look alike, same haircut but at a different angle.

If they look alike because they have the same haircut (but from a different angle), then about 25% of the men in American look like the Iranian President too.

Couldn't find a good picture of Bush w/out subtext. But see, all Bush needs is a beard and some hair dye.

So.... you're saying that if G.W. Bush changed his appearence he'd look like someone else..?

Jeepers !

Have you considered a career in espionage ? Or international diplomacy perhaps ?

But the fact is, GW only has to do some minor tweaks to look like him. A day at the tanning bed, some Nivea for Men, and a break from shaving is all he needs.

Don't be so critical.

Yes. IF GW Bush looked different he might look like someone else.

Wait.. the news on the radio...the Pope's a what now ? Wow !

Praise from the Master indeed ! Halleuliah !

I'll remind you that you're the one making spurious claims on things that are pretty well established and now trying to persuade people that 2 people might look the same if one of them looked different.

.. you really don't get irony do you ?

He's mocking a statement that doesn't make any sense. that's what we do on dakka. Someone throws up a lousy idea and it is soundly mocked and derided.

Yes, if person X changed his appearance, he could look like someone else.

If George Bush grew a beard, had a darker complection, dyed his hair, and got some cosmetic surgery (sorry, but the nose isn't close), he would look like someone else.

I don't know, the nose is about the same to me.

Now with the whole everyone would look like someone else after some work doesn't apply. They both have the same wrinkles, same ears, same expressions, same indents on their face, same exact haircut, etc. They already look alike without any changes, dying his hair and such would make GW a perfect match, not look alikes.

Who one votes for doesn't change that Obama is still your President. The President is the President of all Americans, thus the title President of the United States and not President of the Winning Party Ticket. The person you can vote for can still not do what you want and be upset with them. It is also a bit hypocritical to bash left wingers for being unfairly critical then turn around and do it yourself first chance you get. Either it is wrong or it isn't and you shouldn't do what you think others have done wrong, or fess up to being a liar and hypocrite and do what you criticized others for doing.
