It's a game, played for fun, with dice and little dollies. Anyone who decides that winning or losing is more important than being polite or friendly is a complete arse in my book.

I've no idea who you and your friend are, but whatever your ages, you both need to grow up and lighten up. It's only a game for Pete's sake. You and your friend should shake on it, learn from the experience and move on.

That's by far the most sensible suggestion sofar.

Where are all these assumption of he is "screwing over" OP comming from?

What makes you certain he didnt?

I dont know how you play, but usually when we play we read it out load as we walk through each and every set up step. Adn I'm amazed by folks that assume one knows the missions by heart after two games. I played each mission in 4th many many times, but I still couldnt tell you what mission had what rules in it.

Hope more old fools come to their senses and start giving you their money instead of those Union Jack Blood suckers...

Kudos on apologising, raise issues as hypotheticals next time I think.

Introduce a rule at your club to spend some time rereading the mission prior to commencing it.

Nice to see it has ended peacefully. Thought I was gonna see blood spurting from my computer screen on page 2.

Good stuff.

I'm also really sorry I packed up my army but I was not going to have fun playing.

If Onlainari had quite after the first line it would have been an apology. However, his little caveat makes the apology worthless.

Onlainari, next time pay the stupid tax, let it go, and play a fun game knowing it wont happen again.

take care

I don't know, I'm not into 40k for profit, its a hobby, one I enjoy. I really hope I'm never in a position where I make someone so uncomfortable that they pick their army up and leave the table. Its not really about winning as much as rolling dice and shooting imaginary guns for me.

I think mods should lock this thread now. It ended nicely and shouldn't be left open for more dead horse beating or gasoline throwing.
