Blood Angels. C'mon, you have a primarch that made the ultimate sacrifice to save the emperor, and a bunch of really pissed off marines that are so bad a$$ they paint their armor black and tear things apart with rending attacks. Their 'dex just sucks because they "updated" it for 5th ed, but it has too many inconsistencies with the regular SM 'dex. (For example, their storm shields suck, no assault ramps for LRs, and they can only take basic squads in multiples of 5.)
the black templar is deffinetly the best group of marines cuz the emporors champ is a killer the sword giving him 6 strength plus his great weapon skill and after 750 he's just an elete
Blood Angels are pretty win. If only their codex had as much win as their fluff. I mean, honestly, the 'Black Rage' and Death Company fluff is just epic. Not to mention their primarch's exploits.
SW just about as cool though. Russ' legion is teeming with badassery.

You can have champions with relic blades (conferring 6 STR) in just about every codex.

That's just one rumor of how they were created, another is that they were created from the geneseed of 8 marines from Traitor Legions that stayed loyal. That seems more likely to me than being created directly from the Emperor, other wise the Grey Knights would be ridiculously bad ass.
If you want to talk about traitor legions, I would have to say that the Iron Warriors have that spot locked up. I mean, Traitor Titans? You can't really beat that.

Iron Hands all the way. They make themselves out of metal, and use the best weapons. Shame they haven't got a codex though.

Grey Knights cos they have better stats than every other sm and their chapter is 3 times bigger. Also they are all psykers and get better weaponry. Also they can get an inquisiter in an alliance and induct all the other sm and all the ig.
But they're nowhere near as good as;

I dont know why peps hate ultramarines i mean if your a fellow Imperial player (Imperial Guard, Daemon Hunters, Space Marines, etc.) there Brothers in arms who cares about color scheme and if there history is more in depth, there still killin filthy xenos and traitorous chaos . The best Chapter IMO? Blood Ravens, not because of the games(even know there cool The way they conduct warfare is almost unbeatable, if I know my enemy better then he knows himself, then Ive already won cause I know his every response to my actions. That what they do study there enemy, then destroy them

We hate Ultramarines because the whole chapter is a bunch of Mary Sues. Why do they have to be so fething perfect?
