I find it hilarious, being that they are a site that refers to another trade site as "Nazi's" for their rule enforcement (on the "Nazi's" forum, you'd have gotten a brief suspension and nothing more).

I actually laughed quite hard at that for a good few minutes, partially because I should have seen it coming, and partially because it was so hyped up for the first page.

As to Rogue market, I saw a guy on there who I wanted to PM, so I made an account last night for that very purpose. But before I could access anything, it said that the 'admins wanted me to look at a certain page by following link X'. I did so(no other choice, and it took me to some thing called Jawaballs. And it wouldn't let me leave. Seriously. I could not get off that page, because whenever I tried to navigate away from it, it just had that 'admin wants you to look this page' page come up with the link.

I tried logging in earlier, and now it won't let me. Perhaps I've been banned for not wanting to give Jawaballs my money?

Jawaballs? I've heard of The Jawa Report, which is a political sight that some people use to "keep an eye" on Muslim anti-American activities in the world political arena (Yes, I work with some people like that, and I bet you just might too and not know it!).

Ketara, did Jawaballs ask for your money? What was on the page? That is one of the weirder "Welcome to our sight, we hope you enjoy your stay" messages I have ever heard of. And the not being able to surf away thing is just down right rude and hostile, in my opinion.

That's funny Ketara. I just registered on rogue market, and while I saw a link to jawaballs and some kind of promo, it certainly didn't drag me there kicking and screaming after sign up. WTF happened to you? Maybe it singled you out by IP? Any other dakkas from Brtain have this issue?

nope, Ketara is right. I kicked, I screamed; I got drug to this friggin page. Turns out it is on the same site, and jawaballs is evidently a paying sponsor. The name sounds familiar, where have I seen that member before? Either here on Dakka or maybe another forum. Painting service?

Anyway, after I read the Jawaballs page on the RM site, I was unshackled and free to roam about. Weird, and I dont like it much. That's pretty aggressive.
