Honestly, GW can't handle the number of armies they have now. I don't want any more.

BUT, if there had to be one. I'd want to see Adeptus Mechanicus. But only if they put ALL space marines into one book.

What about an all non-humanoid robot army. Nothing like necrons, with their "tomb kings in the future" look.

I talking robots more along the line of r2d2.

Maybe with some fluff about how they were designed by an ancient race, and is their vanguard for terraforming projects.

I'd make a army of killer robots. But the idea has already been taken.

It's lore-breaking but I would make something like Terminators or Cylons. Admech machines that became self-aware and figured they were done taking orders from "Fleshlings" Now they mutilate them. And on now-abandoned Imperial worlds. Factories nearly rivaling Forgeworlds birth these soulless mechanical killers.

It would definitely have a swarm unit, pretty much ripper/drone swarms.

Basic infantry roughly the toughness of Guardsmen. all around 3 for stats. One attack.

Elite's would be MEQ

HQs would vary from a flying supercomputer that enhanced stats and gave army wide bonuses to Infantry Killers and Hero Killers. Oh and the possibly for humans who chose to worship them and were

made into Cyborgs who are now rewarded by commanding the legions of robots.

Heavy support could be interesting. It would be a nice all around army.


It's either that or a all Psyker army. Akin to the 1k sons and Grey Knights.

The Hrud need a codex for Gods sake. There was a picture in the 3rd edition rulebook near thye back of thwe book. The Hrud guy was shorter than a person, was covered in a ragged cloak and hood, and had laser rifle thing. He also had a rats tail.
This basically reiterates the fact that they are basically space skaven, which is great for everybody on this forum who wants space skaven. This also means that all of their tech should be skaven-esque.
In the Gorkamorka rulebook, there is a section of writing about strange sandstorm raiders that bear a strong resemblance to the Hrud picture from 3ed. They ride round the desert on mutated steeds and carry laser jezzails.
the entropic field that the Hrud project ahead of their migration also has much scope for ingame rules. They could -1 toughness to enmies to squads that fail their leader's LD or T save.

Hrud don't have tanks as far as I know, but I think they skiffs and i know they have artillery.
