It would probably have to be a VERY psychic oriented army, even more so then eldar.

I like the idea of a Xeno codex with a variety of different non-human races in different force org. slots that you could use with your army. This will never happen but it is a cool idea.

Eastern Frontier Exploratores
224th Astra Legion (main army)
628th Praetorian Guard Cohort (wife's army)
827th Auxilia Cohort (ad mech fun)
825th Foderati Cohort (in the beginning army)

That was called LATD. They already released it, soaked up the money and then canceled it...

codex: brown marines

They would be a totally new race worthy of ther own codex! They would be mysterious nomad marines who all have plasma guns.

See: Necrons, Tau, and to a lesser extent Chaos Daemons but that's mostly because people are pissed about the huge retconning of 20 years of Chaos fluff and splitting them from CSMs.

I like it when they do that.

I would like to see a pirate codex released. It would be an eldar Codex, but it wouldn't be Dark eldar or Craftworld Eldar. The priates would have unique vehicles and wargear. Perhaps the main troops would be armed with electrical weaponry. 9Electric arc guns, Electric power-fists, etc.)

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

LATD need to come back. Some sort of special rules for traitor guardsmen would be cool. Especially with some BLOOD PACT. I would probably play that army if they gave it real support (i.e. not just a list in a campaign book).

The traitor sets from FW are awesome...

I like the Pirate/Mercenary ideas. Some sort of rogue force; there are apparently a bunch of Eldar pirates, but they only get honorable mention in Kill Teams. A pirate/merc force should be bigger than a kill team but have a points limit imo. Maybe I'm suggesting this because I absolutely love kill teams and pirates. Hmm....

What? Chaos cultists have NEVER been easier to represent. Penal Troops and a Primaris Psyker with a Psi Battle Squad and a few Looted Tanks and theres ya army.

I always thought Space Ogres would be amusing. Not actual ogres, though, but an army of few models with high stats and weaponry. Ones that could actually win a fight, unlike the fantasy ogres...

Otherwise, Ad Mech wins.

I would have a army of Super slow robotic golems (not necrons that are undead robots) that would be near unkillable with a powerful begin behind him augmenting his metal pet. He person behind his pet would have many different weapons that use stuff the Ad mech would consider herasy.

I present to you my project - Codex Mechlords

Mechlord 100 pts HQ choice
WS 4 BS 5 S 4 I 4 A 2 W 3 Ld 10 4+ armor save

A Mechlord comes with the following:

Command Staff (1+ attacks, reroll failed leadership tests)
Leadership robes (Yeilds a 4+ armor save)

A Mechlord may take the following:

Plasma claw - 20pts
Augmented Metal Robes - 20pts (replaces Leadership robes)
Difusion device - 10pts
Empowered circlet - 40pts

Plasma claw - A powered claw with a plasma conductor in the center of the palm. The plasma claw also counts as a power weapon in close combat.

Str 7 ap 2 24" assault 1, gets hot
or
str 6 ap 3 12" assault 4, gets hot

Augmented Metal Robes - Powered plated metal sheets are painstakingly crafted into a heavy but flexable robe that can be worn like any other clothing. The Mechlord gains a 2+ armor save, but his I becomes 1 and moves under the "slow and purposeful" rule.
Diffusion device - The mechlord gains a 4+ invunable save. When this save is taken, you may re-roll failed saves. You may not re-roll a re-roll.
Empowered circlet - A powerful gem infused with raw electric energy inserted into a metal ring. It is placed over one's head. A mechlord with a Empowered circlet gains the "Enteral Warrior" rule.

-Augments-

During the movement phase, a Mastermind may choice to augment a nearby sqaud. This can only effect 1 unit at a time and last til the end of the turn. The mechlord must also give up his ability to move for that turn. The mechlord then takes a leadership test.
If a Double 6 is rolled then the augment has backfired onto himself. All of the mechlords statistics are reduced to 1 for that turn.

Augment Speed - A mechlord infuses a unit to move with great speed, more so that it is capable than it is normaly. Any unit with the Hulking Automaton rule ignores the "Slow and purposeful" rule and can move upto 9"

Augment Power - A mechlord empowers the weapons of a unit. The unit may re-roll to wound rolls for that turn.

Augment Armor - A mechlord conducts their armor with raw energy. All armor saves of that unit become invunable saves.

-----------------------------------------------

The golems come in a max group of 5. It's armed with power fists and a intergrated storm bolters in his knuckles.

Battle Golem 50pts each Sqaud size 1-5 Troop choice
WS 3 BS 3 S 5 I 1 A 2 W 2 Ld 7 Sv 2+

Master and servant - So long that the Mastermind is alive and within 12" of a battle golem sqaud, they use his leadership instead of their own for leadership checks.
Hulking Automaton - Battle Golems are slow, hulking creations that have amazing durability. They have a 2+ armor save and a 4+ invunable save but move under the "slow and purposeful" rule.

Ever watched the judge dredd movie? That robot golem ;3

That's it for now ;p
